Having gone quite the distance this past weekend, YHC will still be in recovery mode come Friday. But it won’t stop me from putting some routes together and hanging with the BBBC crowd! Opting to launch from YHCs church, River Oaks off of Lewisville-Clemmons Rd, we have a QUADRUPLE option morning for you fine men…<\/p>\n

YHC Recommends a headlamp for the neighborhood roads.\u00a0The entirety of Lewisville-Clemmons Rd. is sidewalked, so no worries there. SYITG!<\/p>\n

Back-Blast:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10 PAX gathered to run around the streets surrounding River Oaks Community Church this morning.<\/p>\n

@Fingers, @Drano and @Offsides ran the 5 mile loop.<\/strong> Rumor has it, and I fully believe it, that the latter two kept a 7:45 pace!? @Fingers appeared mid route having launched early and running the route backwards [not literally running backwards though]); he also is the only one to have done the parking lot loop for the full 5!<\/p>\n

@1040EZ and @Hacker ran the 4 mile loop.<\/strong> It’s been a while since I’ve seen @Hacker, he’s an IT guy and always welcome in YHC’s book! Good to see @1040EZ back out regularly again, already showing more pep in his step since my #Mayhem Q last month! Strong work to both!<\/p>\n

@Sassy, @DramaQueen, @Harden, @Schneider and YHC ran the 3.5 mile loop.<\/strong> @Schneider came barreling out the gates at a 9 min pace for the first 2 miles, getting fast! @Sassy posted despite <5 hours of sleep, said he was finally awake at the end and was glad to have posted (He’s also going to Disney World next week!). @DramaQueen was earning that #Respect as he was chasing after @Harden, who is quite the runner these days, our pack leader at the end.<\/p>\n

@SourMash indicated he would do the 2.5 mile loop on Twitter, but seems to be nursing a strained calf… he was missed, but hope he heals up soon!<\/p>\n

We all circled up for the last few minutes and did some stretching, which YHC really needs to keep doing the next few days and forever after that.<\/p>\n

  • ROCC 5K on May 12th, discount registration til Sunday, also a 1 to 1 match fundraiser going on right now.<\/li>\n
  • 5K launching from the Clemmons West Pool on the first weekend of June<\/li>\n
  • Prayers for the Prison Ministry prayer event tomorrow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
