Always moving but not going anywhere<\/strong><\/p>\n

PAX: Thistle (WD), Palin (WB), Beverly, Whirly (for most of it), Root Canal, Mutton, BAM<\/p>\n

Since there was a pre-blast, you should know what we did, so that frees up space to wax eloquent.\u00a0 As the pax gathered at the Joel they noticed that the Q was standing not exactly near them.\u00a0 When the Q shouted “2 minutes!” one pax wondered aloud, “Should we come to you or are you coming to us?”\u00a0 YHC assumes that only a millennial would ask a question if a leader would come to the group or if the group should migrate towards the leader.\u00a0 #everybodygetsatrophy<\/p>\n

Another pax thought the Q had gas, so that’s why he was standing alone.\u00a0 The Q reminded the pax that possible flatulence and the proper launching spot for a beatdown were not mutually exclusive.<\/p>\n

Once the group properly circled up and the clock “struck” 0530, we got started.\u00a0 Basic gist, 4 workout stations, designated lap was approx. .5 miles, start with 5 reps and add 5 per lap.\u00a0 Oh yeah, alternate forward and backward mosey as mode of transportation.<\/p>\n

Based on pax in attendance, Q announced that Beverly and Mutton would get in roughly 12 laps and the Q would probably get in 2 laps and everybody else would be somewhere in between.<\/p>\n

We did the first lap together to demonstrate some exercises and just to stay together.\u00a0 As expected, Beverly was kind enough to oblige us and then shot off never to be seen again.<\/p>\n

There was some discussion about the appropriateness of putting our feet on top of the markers at the Joel for dirkens.\u00a0 The Q said it was fine.\u00a0 #hewenttoseminary<\/p>\n

In addition to Beverly’s speed, something else was in the air.\u00a0 First the Q was struck with a certain discomfort that would not abate.\u00a0 It has been known as having to “take a Whirly.”\u00a0 But in a large parking lot facing a busy street, that can be problematic.\u00a0 The Q thought he could get to more cover, but nope.\u00a0 Certain bushes might start growing faster than others.<\/p>\n

YHC thought it was humorous that the namesake of such a move was in attendance, but before YHC could share the funny story, the king was lagging a little bit and then proclaimed, “I’m going to Biscuitville!”\u00a0 #promove\u00a0 Turns out, that phrase must be like being in the south and somebody says, “I’m getting a Coke” meaning any kind of soft drink.\u00a0 Once Whirly returned, pax found out he went to neighboring Speedway, and did not make a purchase.\u00a0 Palin thought that was rude, but since his uncle founded Biscuitville, he was probably secretly happy his family’s business was not “visited” by Whirly.<\/p>\n

At one point the Q heard Palin complaining he didn’t have a cool nickname like Root Canal, then Whirly shared he likes actual root canals. #qualityjournalismrightthere<\/p>\n

Pax kept running and working hard, the Q kept falling further behind, but it all worked out.\u00a0 We landed back at the starting point at 0615.\u00a0 Beverly commented that since pax ran half forward and half backwards, his GPS said he ran 0.0 miles! #ferrisbuellermath<\/p>\n

Pax circled up and headed out!<\/p>\n
