We were greeted Saturday morning with beautiful weather and an unusually large crowd of Pax this morning. \u00a0Well we thought it was a large crowd, but the Nantan showed up with a splinter group we will call the “MERRY WOODSMEN”. They were off to do a trail run and share the beautiful park we call Tanglewood. \u00a0I must say , that our Dawg Pound group had the only legitimate sounding Woodsmen in “Quiver”.<\/p>\n
We took off for what ended up being the large loop around Tanglewood . The group definitely got after it with Van Gogh setting a good pace for all. All together we made 9 stops. \u00a0We stopped to do arms, legs, core in a sequence of 10, 15, 20 . Huckleberry and Vangogh each got a turn in coming up with the exercises as we were heading to stop 4 and 7.<\/p>\n
Along the way our group lost its size. We realized when we were close to the horse \u00a0barn that our group was not going to make it back in time so Van Gogh had to sprint back to live up to a commitment he made to his wife (KUDO’S TO HIM) for making the right decision with that.<\/p>\n
Quiver tweaked his hamstring and ended up having to walk back from about a mile away. \u00a0YHC had Huckleberry fill in to take roll of the entire group including the splinter group who shared our park that morning. ( Red Eye, Total Recall, Beast Light, Bluto, Prospector) I might be missing one. \u00a0YHC drove back to the gate to give Quiver a ride back<\/p>\n
Fingers reminded me to send out a back blast at the very end. \u00a0I did not realize this but if your hospital name begins with KEVIN you are exempt from writing a backlist . Apparently this is buried deep in the personal conduct code under some obscure rule. \u00a0Some interesting twitter exchange followed.<\/p>\n
An awesome turnout for Chick Fil A “Coffeteria” on Saturday morning and it was good to hang out with the Pax.<\/p>\n
