{"id":4518,"date":"2018-04-30T19:06:30","date_gmt":"2018-04-30T23:06:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=4518"},"modified":"2018-04-30T19:17:55","modified_gmt":"2018-04-30T23:17:55","slug":"pre-blast-highland-brewing-night-flight-overnight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2018\/04\/pre-blast-highland-brewing-night-flight-overnight\/","title":{"rendered":"Pre-Blast: Highland Brewing Night Flight Overnight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A little mountain air, a 4-mile run though beautiful western North Carolina&#8230;.oh yeah, and beer.<\/p>\n<p>About the race:<\/p>\n<p><em>The Highland Brewing Night Flight is everyone\u2019s favorite twilight race and back for its fifth year and, it\u2019s better than ever.\u00a0 The 4.5-mile East Asheville course will take runners through the Asheville Golf Course, through the Beverly Hills neighborhood (where you will be showered with cheers from the residents) and past the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wncnaturecenter.com\/\">WNC Nature Center<\/a>\u00a0before finishing back at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.highlandbrewing.com\/\">Highland Brewing Company<\/a>. \u00a0This year\u2019s post-race party and awards ceremony will be at the Meadow. \u00a0Glow swag will be provided, dressing up is always encouraged, and there will be beer waiting for you at the finish line! \u00a0100% of race proceeds go to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.myashevilleparks.org\/\">Asheville Parks and Greenways Foundation.<\/a>\u00a0 Produced by Glory Hound Events.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registration and more <a href=\"http:\/\/gloryhoundevents.com\/event\/highland-night-flight\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>About the trip:<\/p>\n<p>The race starts at 7:30pm that day. Pax are invited to descend upon Wobegon&#8217;s family&#8217;s mountain house in Black Mountain anytime after noon that Saturday and then enjoy some recover and 2nd F back at the house post race. We can sleep up to 9 (in your own bed, sharing rooms.)<\/p>\n<p>Sunday morning: who knows? Beatdown? Biscuits at Blue Ridge Biscuit Company? Leave early to get home for church?
