I know, I know.\u00a0 You’ve all been waiting for it:\u00a0 the return of Speed Trap to the Dash.\u00a0 Well, sleep easy because it’s back.\u00a0 5 Pax jumped out of the fartsack (presumably because they had to pee really badly), and posted at Whitaker Elementary for a 4.5 mile fartlek training session.\u00a0 We crushed it so hard, we had time for some core work in the end a la RnG.\u00a0 Probably should have stolen the launch point and route from RnG like I used to, but decided to actually create the stuff myself this time.\u00a0 RnG Qs will have the opportunity to inspire me over the next few weeks though so think hard about launch points and routes.<\/p>\n

Strategic error:\u00a0 starting 3 of the 4 speed portions uphill.\u00a0 Overall, the route had a little over 100 feet of elevation change, but it was all in the beginning of the fast parts.\u00a0 The last part of the last one was downhill, so the Pax weren’t too angry.<\/p>\n

No Ramses today.\u00a0 Must have still been mourning Dook’s loss last night.\u00a0 I guess if you assemble the supposed best group of freshmen ever, you are supposed to win.\u00a0 Or not.\u00a0 Maybe having a tool for an upperclassman leader doesn’t work so well.\u00a0 Blame the refs I guess (even though basic statistics would say that doesn’t make sense).<\/p>\n
