Sh*t of a Q at Dawg Pound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Date: 3\/25\/18<\/p>\n<p>QIC: Sour Mash<\/p>\n<p>The PAX: Quiver, Star Fish, Fingers, Sour Mash<\/p>\n<p>Hedwig&#8217;s bachelor party shenanigans were set to start after #IS.\u00a0 #VanGogh was scheduled to Q #DawgPound, but sent out a Tweet requesting a SubstiQ.\u00a0 A little good natured Twitter banter back and forth and YHC for some reason agreed to take #VanGogh&#8217;s place.\u00a0 YHC wishes he could say Bourbon had something to do with it, but I don&#8217;t drink at work.\u00a0 What have I done?\u00a0 YHC hates running and agreed to Q a mostly running workout?!?<\/p>\n<p>And so it began&#8230;How do I get out of this?\u00a0 #Harden DM&#8217;d YHC asking what my plans were for Saturday and he informed me there was a 5k (Nathan&#8217;s Race) launching from Tanglewood at 9:30 AM and we should run in it.\u00a0 2 problems here, first YHC was NOT running a 5k after Qing DP and second the 2.0 had a dance competition starting at 10 AM.\u00a0 Was this going to be my saving grace, however?\u00a0 Should #DawgPound converge elsewhere in lieu of this event?\u00a0 NOPE!\u00a0 After DMing the Site Q, YHC was gently reminded that DP launches at 0630 and from a different location as the 5k.\u00a0 Can&#8217;t blame me for trying&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>What to do, what to do?\u00a0 BINGO, market AGAINST my own Q!\u00a0 I totally got this!\u00a0 YHC did his best to minimize the Q experience that was going to be offered at DP in hopes the PAX might stay away.\u00a0 YHC went as far as promoting and campaigning on Twitter for Frisburpee happening at #IS.\u00a0 A few re-tweets later and some back and forth Tweeting with the SiteQ, it was clear this plan had backfired.\u00a0 Now, YHC had concerns more PAX than anticipated might show.\u00a0 #MarketingGenius<\/p>\n<p>Now there was nothing left to do but plan the Q.\u00a0 A quick refresher of previous Qs at #DawgPound, a review of the F3 Exicon and YHC had a plan.<\/p>\n<p>YHC still held out a little hope that no PAX would show as I was sitting in my truck and no PAX in sight as of 0623.\u00a0 Then my heart sank as YHC saw lights coming down the road.\u00a0 It was Starfish!\u00a0 He had hopped the Red Eye from Texas to NC just to make it to my DP Q debut!\u00a0 (OK, that last sentence wasn&#8217;t true.)\u00a0 Not sure who showed up next, but Fingers and Quiver showed up shortly after.\u00a0 At 0630 YHC cocked his leg and gave a piss poor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-O-Rama:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abe Vigoda x 15 IC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The THANG:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosey approximately .25 miles and perform an exercise.\u00a0 Mosey approximately another .25 miles and perform an exercise.\u00a0 Repeat around the roads\/trails of Tanglewood.\u00a0 \u00a0YHC planned for 10 exercises that would cover about 2.5 miles &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>W<\/strong>indmill<\/li>\n<li><strong>E<\/strong>2K (aka Mutton Crunch)<\/li>\n<li><strong>L<\/strong>bcs<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>corpion Dry Docks<\/li>\n<li><strong>H<\/strong>illibillies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>C<\/strong>lerkin<\/li>\n<li><strong>O<\/strong>verhead Clap<\/li>\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>everse Crunch<\/li>\n<li><strong>G<\/strong>orilla Humpers<\/li>\n<li><strong>I<\/strong>mperial Walkers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We made it back to start with about 5 minutes to spare so we did 2 rounds of each week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fingers took us out praying for YHCs coworker, the family of his coworker who passed away and the facilities at Tanglewood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A range of miles covered on various fitness apparatuses by the PAX.\u00a0 YHC had 3.3 miles, Starfish had almost 4 and Fingers had 3.5.\u00a0 YHC MMR&#8217;d the route and it came up to 2.6 miles.\u00a0 Starfish did quite a bit of lassying back for the 6 and Fingers did some lassying back and had a slight detour as nature called about 30 minutes in.<\/li>\n<li>Exercises called spelled out Welsh Corgi.\u00a0 There are two breeds, Pembroke Welsh Corgi&#8217;s (docked tails) and Cardigan Welsh Corgi&#8217;s (full tail).<\/li>\n<li>Strong work by all PAX today!\u00a0 Appreciate the opportunity
