{"id":4223,"date":"2018-03-23T18:35:18","date_gmt":"2018-03-23T22:35:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=4223"},"modified":"2018-03-23T18:56:55","modified_gmt":"2018-03-23T22:56:55","slug":"waking-up-the-neighbors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2018\/03\/waking-up-the-neighbors\/","title":{"rendered":"Waking up the Neighbors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1170\" height=\"878\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CEgh8TUlpQc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Date: \u00a003\/23\/18<\/p>\n<p>Q:\u00a0 Spamalot<\/p>\n<p>Pax:\u00a0 Toe Tag, Drama Queen, Geppetto, PETA, Hedwig, Roosevelt, Boomerang, Root Canal, Tonka, Snooki, Total Recall, Burns, Cheesesteak, Spamalot, Bryson Shuckard (now known as Honky Tonk)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the course of the past couple of weeks, YHC engaged in some good natured MC with site Q Geppetto about moving the location of Urban Assault.\u00a0 As the plan for today&#8217;s beatdown came together, YHC was confident that Bailey Park would fit the bill.<\/p>\n<p>When YHC parked and walked over to call the Pax to order, it was clear that Geppetto made the right call.\u00a0 Bailey Park is the perfect AO location.<\/p>\n<p>Pax were everywhere, and kept coming.\u00a0 All told, 15 Pax, including YHC and and FNG circled up for the following.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-o-rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Full disclaimer was given.\u00a0 Twice actually, as the FNG was a few minutes late.\u00a0 More on him later.<\/p>\n<p>Exercises were the usual fare:\u00a0 SSH, Abe Vigoeda, Squats, Mountain climbers, alternating shoulder taps.\u00a0 All IC, all x 15.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE THANG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosey to corner of 4th and Patterson.\u00a0 Explained to Pax that we would perform called exercise at each corner, as we moseyed up Patterson until we reached 8th Street (MLK).\u00a0 Patterson would be all about arms.\u00a0 \u00a0Exercises performed on Patterson were:\u00a0 Arm swirly things forward, arm swirly things reverse, Overhead claps, Seal claps, and Jack Reachers. All x 15, IC<\/p>\n<p>Once at 8th street, mosey to front of Arts Based School. Time for legs.\u00a0 On the way down Chestnut, we performed:\u00a0 Copperhead squats, R leg lunges, L leg lunges, Squats, Sumo Squats.\u00a0 all x 15, IC<\/p>\n<p>Once at 4th street, mosey to Liberty Street.\u00a0 Core work on Liberty as we headed along:\u00a0 LBCs, WWII, dying cochroach, heals to heaven.\u00a0 all x 15, IC<\/p>\n<p>Next street, time for merkins, again one exercise at each corner:\u00a0 regular, wide, carolina dry docks and Chuck Norris.\u00a0 all x 15, all IC<\/p>\n<p>Mosey along 5th street back to Bailey Park.<\/p>\n<p>Mary:\u00a0 usual stuff until time was called!<\/p>\n<p>Total distance covered:\u00a0 2.2 miles.\u00a0 Nice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sooo, a young, fast group this morning.\u00a0 Cobains on always having to wait for the Q.\u00a0 always the 6!!<\/p>\n<p>Highlight of the day was at the corner of 7th and Chestnut.\u00a0 As we were performing the exercises IC, a woman yelled out the window of her apartment.\u00a0 She was not pleased.\u00a0 I believe she kindly requested that we shut up.\u00a0 It was received as one would expect.\u00a0 YHC is sure she had a great story to tell her friends today.<\/p>\n<p>Pax learned that there are many trucks driving around downtown at that hour.\u00a0 Also learned that the trucks were louder than the Pax.<\/p>\n<p>FNG &#8211; Bryson is another doctor&#8230;.nickname was derived from his dislike of country music.\u00a0 WELCOME.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Announcements\/Prayer Requests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prayers for Boomerang&#8217;s sister, Susan.\u00a0 Battling cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Prayers for the Harold family on the death of husband\/father, Mike &#8211; age 42.<\/p>\n<p>Look for information on upcoming F3\/FIA joint workout &#8211; ToeTag has the details.<\/p>\n<p>Free Tai Chi class tomorrow &#8211; check Twitter<\/p>\n<p>Come see Drama Queen and Sgt.
