This morning at Mayhem was indeed a colossal train wreck, but somehow there was a sense of humbled satisfaction that comes from being around a fun and strong group of guys. The 44-2\/3 minutes of pain went much less cohesively than this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-o-rama<\/strong><br \/>\nThe usual fare only this time with a clever attempt to set the tone that we would be working in multiples of 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 &#8211; this would prove to be an outright start to the disaster for a Q that can only call cadence in multiples of 5<br \/>\nSSH X 16<br \/>\nIST x 16<br \/>\nPlank Jacks X 8 hold it<br \/>\nPeter Parker x 8<br \/>\nParker Peter x 8<br \/>\nAbe Vigoda x 8<\/p>\n<p>YHC explained that we would be highlighting the missed picks in YHC&#8217;s NCAA bracket.  We would start by moseying our way to the park area being extra careful of black ice.  Mongoose commented that there was nothing safer than running on a main road with freezing temps.  YHC mumbled a cordial agreement and continued.  We had a speed bump at the top of the access drive where we Al Gored and waited for the six who was quickly on the scene.  Merkins on the down were called and this one was counted correctly to 16 of course.  The Pax continued to the entrance drive where the Thang was explained&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Losses in the first round &#8211; so they didn&#8217;t get to round of 32 &#8211; we would do a close symblancee of 32 for each&#8230;<br \/>\n<strong>Virginia<\/strong>  Biggest upset in history &#8211; upset stomach, 32 Burpees &#8211; in ladder fashion &#8211; 1 down, 8 up, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5<br \/>\n<strong>Arizona<\/strong> &#8211; Hot and reminded YHC of a Scorpion &#8211; so we did Cockroach x  32 IC<br \/>\n<strong>Miami<\/strong> &#8211; Spring Training &#8211; reminded HC of baseball and of course Nolan Ryan so we did Nolan Ryans x 16 IC Each side<br \/>\n<strong>Texas<\/strong> &#8211; Longhorns &#8211; Long Run to Wall going of course around the horn.  Al Gore as we wait<br \/>\n<strong>Missouri<\/strong> &#8211; Show me state &#8211; Show me your hands 32 Jack Reachers IC<br \/>\n<strong>VA Tech<\/strong> &#8211; Hokies &#8211; somehow reminded YHC of a monkey so we did Monkey Humpers x 32 IC<br \/>\n<strong>Wichita State <\/strong>&#8211; Wushock is the Mascot &#8211; Shock so shockingly we planked for 1 minute and yes 60 seconds (16)<br \/>\n<strong>Texas Christian<\/strong> &#8211; Super Frogs. So of course we did 32 Frog Jumps<\/p>\n<p>These picks did not make it to teh Sweet Sixteen so we generally did reps of 16 starting with&#8230;<br \/>\n<strong>Tennessee<\/strong> &#8211; Volunteer, Q leadership, Pax pick &#8211; Litter Box selected the Mountain Climbers so we did 16 IC<br \/>\n<strong>Cincinnati<\/strong> Bear Cats &#8211; Bear Crawl<br \/>\n<strong>Xavier<\/strong> &#8211; Blue Blob, from Cincinnati, Reds, Big Red Machine &#8211; Pete Rose Head first Slide &#8211; Superman-Banana X 8<br \/>\n<strong>Michigan State<\/strong> &#8211; Sparty &#8211; Muscular Male &#8211; after much consternation instead of a run to the rock pile which would have been appropriate, we did Overhead claps x 16 IC<br \/>\n<strong>UNC<\/strong> &#8211; Tar Heels &#8211; Carolina &#8211; Carolina Dry Docks X 16 &#8211; special call of 1st 8 by Ink Spot and second 8 by Mongoose.  #savoringthisbrilliance<\/p>\n<p>Early call for Mary to stay dry under the breezeway shelter all at 8 or 16 IC<br \/>\nFreddie Mercury<br \/>\nLow FLutter<br \/>\nLow DOllie<br \/>\nBox Cutter<br \/>\nBig O left and Right<\/p>\n<p>Slow Mosey near the Start for the Final 4<br \/>\n4 Sprints the length of the parking lot for Fin but wait&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more&#8230; circle up at the flag for Merkins x 16 IC, only to be followed by Merkins x 16 IC, now Fin<\/p>\n<p><strong>NMC<\/strong><br \/>\nOnly after the beatdown did YHC learn that Litter Box had perhaps the best comment of the day.  It went something like this.  When YHC was explaining that this one was certainly one for the record bools with the missed counts, and lack of glasses and general coherence, He said, &#8220;Well if you think this one was off, you should have been there on Joke Day!&#8221;  #Nice<br \/>\nInk Spot had a grumble about getting his shoes wet on the burpee ladder<br \/>\nBeverly&#8217;s hair was simply exquisite today!  We did learn that he wore some sort of head wrap at the St Leo&#8217;s Run last Saturday. 70&#8217;s throwback &#8211; see Spicoli<br \/>\nMongoose was in rare form commenting on the Big O, and disposable Panties (misheard from yes, Splash calling for donations as disposable pennies)<br \/>\nRed-Eye was simply soaking it all today following &#8211; as best he could &#8211; the disjointed instructions<br \/>\nSpamalot commented that there a few too many degrees of separation on the Superman Banana call.  YHC admits that one got a bit out of hand!<br \/>\nSplash, Litter Box, Mongoose, and Offsides were all smoking the final four.  Great work<\/p>\n<p><strong>PAX<\/strong><br \/>\nMongoose, Red-eye, Zima, Splash, Beverly, Litter Box(WB), Spamalot, Offsides, Ink Spot(WD), Plunger<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nAnnouncements<\/strong><br \/>\nSplash is raising Money for LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) Sufferfest, and Party on May 12<br \/>\nSee Lite Bright about Hedwig Bachelor Party, Event on Saturday<\/p>\n<p><strong>COT<\/strong><br \/>\nComments to reach out to those we have not seen in a while; haven&#8217;t seen Le Freak, or Chomper.
