Thanksgiving morning at 6am sharp, we ran the THANKSgiving DashWIB.\u00a0 Gathered at Speas parking lot and then wondered where @CherryPie was and headed towards College Park Baptist Church like we did last year.\u00a0 It’s tradition.<\/p>\n
The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n Hang a right out of the Speas parking lot onto Polo Road and run like you stole something all the way to College Park Baptist at the corner of Polo and Wake Dr.<\/p>\n @Goofy was either tackled by @Palin or tripped over a crack in the sidewalk and scared @SourMash so much that he turned around and went home. @Goofy showed he was worthy of #Respect by picking himself up, dusting himself off, and proceeding on with the beatdown.\u00a0 Tclaps.<\/p>\n At sidewalk:\u00a0 3 T<\/strong>urkish Getups<\/p>\n Run to first parking lot entrance:\u00a0 3\u00a0H<\/strong>and Release Merkins<\/p>\n Run to next corner:\u00a0 3\u00a0A<\/strong>lternating Side Lunges (each side)<\/p>\n Run to second parking lot entrance:\u00a0 3\u00a0N<\/strong>olan Ryans (each side)<\/p>\n Run across parking lot to Ransom Rd. entrance:\u00a0 3\u00a0K<\/strong>nerkins<\/p>\n Run to corner of Ransom and Polo:\u00a0 3\u00a0S<\/strong>quats<\/p>\n Rinse and repeat, escalating in multiples of three each lap (so second lap, 6 of each exercise and third lap, 9 of each exercise and so forth)<\/p>\n Everybody got in 6+ circuits and 2.5+ miles.\u00a0 18 Turkish Getups is no joke.<\/p>\n At 6:40am AYG back to Speas to get ready for Thanksgiving at TRQ.<\/p>\n COT\/BOM:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>@Plunger took us out.<\/p>\n NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n @LiteBrite was suffering from deja vu all over again.\u00a0 @Fingers listened to “Alice’s Restaurant” over three times.\u00a0 @Schneider wore @LiteBrite’s tights.\u00a0 @VanGogh, @LiteBrite and @Plunger were our #LarryBirds for the morning but all 10 of us burned a bunch of calories and got a lot of work in before 6:45am.\u00a0 @TheSingingCowboy wasn’t excited until we heard Wayne Newton during the preamble of #TRQ.\u00a0 @Whirly suggested that next year we celebrate Hanksgiving so as to pass on the Turkish Getups.\u00a0 And he didn’t even stick around for #TurkishPrison at #TRQ.<\/p>\n Thanks and tclaps for keeping the tradition alive.<\/p>\n ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Happy Thanksgiving<\/p>\n @Fingers has an extra seat at the Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry breakfast next Thursday (11\/30).\u00a0 Kerry King is speaking.\u00a0 See @Fingers if you’re in town and interested.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Thanksgiving morning at 6am sharp, we ran the THANKSgiving DashWIB.\u00a0 Gathered at Speas parking lot and then wondered where @CherryPie was and headed towards College Park Baptist Church like we did last year.\u00a0 It’s tradition.
