I am not talking about any of the tobacco road UNC Duke stuff &#8211; we are talking about tightening up them laces and pressing your opponent until their will is broken and they are bent over ready to spill merlot all over the court. This stuff isn&#8217;t for pre-Madonna\u00a0Jordan wannabe&#8217;s.\u00a0This is for the guys who want to give 100% defensively (110% is\u00a0unattainable)\u00a0and leave it all on the floor. Remember &#8211; offense is for resting.<\/p>\n<p>At VCU we call it HAVOC. Nolan Richardson had it named &#8220;40 minutes of Hell&#8221; by player Scott Rose at Arkansas.<\/p>\n<p>5 pax answered this bell and showed up to leave it all on the asphalt.<\/p>\n<p>So today, at Parliament, we implemented 45 Minutes of Hell as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-o-rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windmills x 20 IC<\/li>\n<li>American Hammer x 20 IC<\/li>\n<li>SSH x 20 IC<\/li>\n<li>Capri Lap around the parking lot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Nolan Richardson &#8211; The idea, 45 minutes of constant movement, no stoppage for explaining<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>P1 does called exercise<\/li>\n<li>P2 backpedals length of\u00a0SW gym and jogs back<\/li>\n<li>Flapjack until called number of exercises is complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exercises:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Burpees x 150<\/li>\n<li>Squats x 300<\/li>\n<li>WWIIs x 150<\/li>\n<li>Arm Swirly Things x 300<\/li>\n<li>Merkins x 150<\/li>\n<li>Imperial Walkers x 300<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Finished!<\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All the we were small in numbers the Pax got after it.<\/li>\n<li>Very little MC this morning &#8211; no time for it.<\/li>\n<li>#Parliament did have an audience this morning &#8211; approximately 4-5 poll workers were seen watching the pax work hard. Some catcalling may have been hurled our direction. YHC believes DQ and Sgt. Shultz used this as an opportunity to attempt to EH a couple of them for future workouts.<\/li>\n<li>Note: The electorate at #Parliament displayed questionable driving abilities as they began to show for election day. Future installments of Parliament may wish to avoid the parking lot during similar events in the future.
