Once again, here&#8217;s the grand plan:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The WIB THANG<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet in Fleet Feet parking lot <em>(278 Harvey St, Winston-Salem, NC 27103; off Stratford)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Mosey to Hanestown park <em>(R on Ricks, L on Thurston; corner of Thurston &amp; Stark)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Start at swings<\/li>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; x12 Swerkins (#CrowdPleaser)<\/li>\n<li><em>(very short mosey to benches at shelter)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; x12 Dips<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; x12 Derkins<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; x12 Irkins<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; x12 Box Jumps<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Run lap around park (~.3mi)<\/li>\n<li><em>Repeato<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Goal: Complete at least 6 circuits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We <em>did<\/em> complete 6 circuits (~2.7mi; 72 Swerkins, 72 Dips, 72 Derkins, 72 Irkins, 72 Box Jumps).<\/p>\n<p>@Thistle did more than 6 laps.<\/p>\n<p>@Huckleberry and @Hedwig completed more circuits than 6, but not sure how much&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Announcements and NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ardmore RAH on Sat &#8211; 5k &amp; 10k (or both)<\/li>\n<li>@Thistle&#8217;s younger son Duncan deployed Tuesday &#8211; keep him in your prayers<\/li>\n<li>@Huckleberry and @Hedwig jumped out to an early lead; @Thistle was not far behind them<\/li>\n<li>Learned that the area where we worked out used to be comprised of Hanes company housing to support the Hanes factory that was there, hence the name &#8220;Hanestown&#8221;;<br \/>\nhistory lesson courtesy of @Thistle<\/li>\n<li>The park looked much more cheerful in the light of day than it did in the gloom this morning<\/li>\n<li>Future reference: there are only two swings suitable for Swerkins, a slide, a shelter, and a basketball court; not much else at this park<\/li>\n<li>@LightBrigade apparently had trouble remembering his name in Name-o-rama, referring to himself as &#8220;Ice Brigade&#8221;; it was chilly this morning, but not that cold&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Everybody worked hard this morning; thanks for the keys, @Lysol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aye!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, so we did what we said we would.
