{"id":3000,"date":"2017-10-18T10:46:50","date_gmt":"2017-10-18T14:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=3000"},"modified":"2017-10-18T15:35:31","modified_gmt":"2017-10-18T19:35:31","slug":"the-devil-went-down-to-bells-whistles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2017\/10\/the-devil-went-down-to-bells-whistles\/","title":{"rendered":"The Devil Went Down to Bells &amp; Whistles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a difference a week makes.\u00a0 On 11 October 2017, YHC posted at Bells-n-Whistles, where the PAX contended with July-like temperatures and humidity.\u00a0 This morning, 13 PAX encountered a brisk Fall morning with temperatures in the low 40s.<\/p>\n<p>It was YHC&#8217;s maiden Q at Bells-n-Whistles.\u00a0 YHC was not about to put up with, or inflict, any crappy music.\u00a0\u00a0#Tuco expressed exactly what YHC was thinking: \u00a0that it would be a &#8220;no Rush, none of the time&#8221; playlist.\u00a0 Phil Collins also was not &#8220;In the Air Tonight.&#8221;\u00a0 Instead, YHC decided to entertain the PAX with a selection of his favorite 1960s-1970s country music songs.<\/p>\n<p>The PAX assembled around the flagpole area, where the\u00a0morning went like this:<\/p>\n<p><strong>WARMARAMA:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSHs:\u00a0 IC x 12<\/li>\n<li>ISTs:\u00a0 IC x 12<\/li>\n<li>Arm Swirly Things (Fwd):\u00a0 IC x 12<\/li>\n<li>Arm Swirly Things (Bckwd):\u00a0 IC x 12<\/li>\n<li>Seal Claps:\u00a0 IC x 12<\/li>\n<li>Standing hamstring stretches:\u00a0 10 count each leg<\/li>\n<li>Whirlies with a Social Disease:\u00a0 IC x 10<\/li>\n<li>Abe Vigodas:\u00a0 IC x 10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>THE THANG:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PAX paired off.\u00a0\u00a0 While Partner 1 ran around the circular driveway surrounding the flagpole (about 1\/5 of a mile by YHC&#8217;s estimation), Partner 2 performed\u00a0each successive kettlebell lift\/exercise on the list until Partner 1 returned, at which time the partners flapjacked.\u00a0 The exercise list was as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curls &#8211; Left arm<\/li>\n<li>Curls &#8211; Right arm<\/li>\n<li>Irkins<\/li>\n<li>Kettlebell Swings<\/li>\n<li>Goblet Squats<\/li>\n<li>Upright Rows<\/li>\n<li>Skull Crushers<\/li>\n<li>Steph Currys<\/li>\n<li>Derkins<\/li>\n<li>Elbow Plank<\/li>\n<li>Bent Over Row &#8211; Left arm<\/li>\n<li>Bent Over Row &#8211; Right arm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most PAX were at this point when time expired.\u00a0 Thus,\u00a0most PAX sprinted, ran, jogged or otherwise locomoted approximately 2.5 miles (with many of the PAX having already completed EC runs before posting).<\/p>\n<p><strong>MARY: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>American Hammers:\u00a0\u00a0 IC x 20<\/li>\n<li>Elbow Plank until 0615 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COT:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>11\/19\u00a0 Beer Run &#8211;\u00a0 Location to be announced<\/li>\n<li>Deadline to order DashPax F3 gear is this weekend<\/li>\n<li>Be on the lookout for more information about the MEGA in G&#8217;boro later this month<\/li>\n<li>Zuckerberg took us out in style, thanking our Lord for the morning, for the\u00a0privilege and ability\u00a0to exercise and bond together, and for both\u00a0the opportunity and obligation to be better husbands, fathers, sons and co-workers and to help bring good into the world.<\/li>\n<li>Welcome to #Harm (former FNG Phil Jones)!
