{"id":2966,"date":"2017-10-14T10:21:35","date_gmt":"2017-10-14T14:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=2966"},"modified":"2017-10-14T10:39:19","modified_gmt":"2017-10-14T14:39:19","slug":"super-21-modified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2017\/10\/super-21-modified\/","title":{"rendered":"Super 21 Modified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>8 hearty and tough pax posted for an old style beatdown.\u00a0 Nothing creative, but the pax seemed to get their money\u2019s worth.\u00a0 It went like this:<\/p>\n<p><u>Warm-o-rama<\/u>:\u00a0 The usual fare for Goofy<\/p>\n<p><u>The Thang<\/u>:<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey to the Field<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Modified Super 21 \u2013 Do 1 Merkin, 1 Sit Up and 1 Jump Squat, then do 2 of each then three of each, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>The first round we did up to the number 7, then we ran to a point and back and planked for the 6<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey to the Rock Pile<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We did a circuit of rock (a challenging rock) exercises as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curls to 15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Presses to 15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Bent over rows to 15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Squats to 15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Curls 10 IC, then curls to failure<\/li>\n<li>Presses 10 IC then to failure<\/li>\n<li>Rows 10 IC, then to failure<\/li>\n<li>Squats 10 IC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Second round of Modified Super 21,, numbers 8-14, when done run around the circle and then plank for the 6<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey to the Lido Deck<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We did 15 dips IC, then steps up 10 each leg, then 10 dips IC, then step ups 10 each leg<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey to the grassy area near the rec center.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Third round of Modified Super 21 \u2013 numbers 15 -21, sprint around the lot and plank for the 6<\/p>\n<p>We had a few more minutes to Mary, so we did timed sprints around the lot, go on each minute for 3x.\u00a0 The fourth time we rested another 30 and then attempted to beat our previous times<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey back to front lot<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Mary<\/u>: \u00a0Penguin Crunches, Low flutter, and mutton crunches<\/p>\n<p><u>COT<\/u>: YHC took us out with thanksgiving for the men in this circle who support and raise each other up, and calls to be the men He wants us to be, and to inspire others to be the persons that He wants them to be<\/p>\n<p><u>Announcements<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mega on 10\/28 in GSO need the Pax to show up in great numbers. If you want to help Q our portion, see Plunger<\/li>\n<li>Prayers and good wishes to all the Pax running in races this weekend.<\/li>\n<li>Mockingbird continues his recover and recently got off crutches from his knee procedure. If you think of it, reach out to him. A long road remains<\/li>\n<li>The Foot had a small tumor removed from his back<\/li>\n<li>Praise again that Proehl posted last week and was at coffeteria. Seems to be doing well and working hard.\u00a0 #PraiseAndThanksgiving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>NMM<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 of our 8 were #Respects. . Strong work by all this AM<\/li>\n<li>During the rock worked YHC encouraged everyone to find a \u201cchallenging rock\u201d. Everyone stepped up to a new level.\u00a0 #GetStronger<\/li>\n<li>Lots of moaning and groaning from the Pax when we hit the 15-21 round and MC to also split it in half. Its supposed to get harder.\u00a0 That\u2019s the point<\/li>\n<li>Burlap calculated we did 231 of each exercise in super 21.<\/li>\n<li>YHC Thinks that @Winklevoss either created Super21 or introduced it to F3WS. TClaps. I hate it.<\/li>\n<li>Plunger arrived on Spicoli time saying he almost did not make it.
