I asked him that same question, &#8220;Why?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0908919\/?ref_=ttqu_qu\">Calvera<\/a>: And?<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000537\/?ref_=ttqu_qu\">Vin<\/a>: He said, &#8220;It seemed to be a good idea at the time.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Just like that fellow that Vin\/Steve McQueen once knew in El Paso who took all his clothes off and jumped in a mess of cactus, 9 fine fellow metaphorically followed his example and, although staying clothed, jumped in the mess of cactus that was Flatline this morning.\u00a0 They were warned ahead of time that they would be facing The Magnificent Seven, aka The Kirk, but that did not dissuade them.\u00a0 In fact at least 5 of them (@Frostbite, @Greenspan, @Burns, @Turnover and @Foie Gras) decided that 45 minutes was not enough and needed extra credit.\u00a0 Like YHC stated above, &#8220;It seemed to be a good idea at the time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-O-Rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSH x21 IC<\/li>\n<li>IW x14 IC<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Squats x7 IC<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Merkins x7 IC<\/li>\n<li>Hillbillies x14 IC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since we had a whole bunch of reps and whole bunch of running to get in, we proceeded to the main event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang:\u00a0 The Magnificent Seven aka The Kirk<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 Burpees OYO<\/li>\n<li>14 Merkins OYO<\/li>\n<li>21 American Hammers OYO<\/li>\n<li>28 Squats OYO<\/li>\n<li>35 Overhead Claps<\/li>\n<li>42 LBCs<\/li>\n<li>Run a lap (out of the parking lot, Cherry Street, hang left on 2nd, hang left on Marshall, hang left on 1st, hang left on Cherry back to parking lot and the VSF\/speaker..each lap was about 1\/3 of a mile, unless you&#8217;re @LambChop)<\/li>\n<li>Repeato for a total of 7 rounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COT\/BOM<\/strong>:\u00a0 YHC took us out.\u00a0 Prayers for @DrToot, @Rollback&#8217;s M and @FoieGras&#8217; family as they mourn the loss of Uncle Tony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>YHC initially participated in this workout circa 2015 in Charlotte at Casbah, led by @Kirk.\u00a0 Way back then, he called it The Magnificent Seven.\u00a0 It spread throughout F3 Nation, which was much smaller at the time, and YHC helped bring it here to the DashPax where it took on an alias after its originator, The Kirk.\u00a0 Regardless of what we call it, it is a good one, suitable for Flatline&#8217;s requirement of constant movement.\u00a0 Pushing for 7 rounds in 45 minutes is an excellent push.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure what the ECers were thinking, but hey, they do they.<\/p>\n<p>Good to see @FoieGras this morning&#8230;.YHC hasn&#8217;t worked out with him but has picked up some furniture from him for greeNest as he recalls.<\/p>\n<p>@Frostbite picked up what his old man was putting down during Warm-O-Rama with the numerical sequencing all being multiples of 7.\u00a0 Gotta keep with the theme, Grasshopper.<\/p>\n<p>@Spicoli and @LambChop were debating\/discussing the difference between lying and marketing (#FineLine).\u00a0 Not sure who won the debate.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of @LambChop, he was showing exactly why he abstains from the #IronPaxChallenge each year, because if he participated, he would win it every time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the #IronPaxChallenge, YHC is enjoying the next 10.5 months of &#8220;ordinary time&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>@Spicoli and @Bootsie stuck around afterwards to catch the SpaceX launch.\u00a0 The rest of us settled on the plane that went over our heads right after COT.<\/p>\n<p>It was a little brisk and chilly for @Turnover this morning.<\/p>\n<p>@Greenspan almost missed COT but sprinted in as he got his last lap in.\u00a0 Most everyone got at least 6 rounds in, unless you listened to @LambChop.<\/p>\n<p>@Burns complimented YHC on the playlist and caught the theme of 7:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theme (From &#8220;The Magnificent Seven&#8221;) [Elmer Bernstein]<\/li>\n<li>Seven Nation Army [The White Stripes]<\/li>\n<li>Seven [Dave Matthews Band]<\/li>\n<li>Seven [Sunny Day Real Estate] *Note for @Spicoli, #Cobains for the brainfart and not being able to recall the band during the workout&#8230;.YHC blames #OxygenDeprivation<\/li>\n<li>Seven [Rainbow Kitten Suprise] *Extra points for @Frostbite being able to name the band.\u00a0 #RaisedHimRight<\/li>\n<li>Seven Devils [Florence + The Machine]<\/li>\n<li>Seventy Times 7 [Brand New]<\/li>\n<li>Seventh Heaven [INOHA]<\/li>\n<li>Seven Seas [Dirty Heads]<\/li>\n<li>Seven Seas [Echo &amp;
