YHC had the keys to #WesternFront this AM and wanting to impress the beasts on the west side (#WeFoCo) YHC dug deep into his brain and the archives. YHC’s first year doing IPC was in 2024 – the main rule for IPC is don’t check twitter and don’t be an ass. This beatdown below YHC was accompanied by @Greenspan and @Cruiser and a few others at Hanes Park. That is all I remember but the format worked well and YHC decided to bring it back. @Rollback would have loved this workout, but for some reason, did not post today… the plan was all in vain!!<\/p>\n
YHC\u00a0did not\u00a0<\/em>call an EC run – mainly because YHC knew what was coming and was tired. Also, the M has increasingly made it clear that I wake her up with my silent alarm and getting changed downstairs. Being the great hubby YHC is, I let the M get that extra 20 minutes.<\/p>\n YHC stated in the preblast that we would hard launch at 0530 so get your warming up beforehand!<\/p>\n The Thang:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n There would be a 5 minute timer. The #PAX were instructed to run 200m, do 30 reps of an exercise. Run back 200m and do burpees until the timer goes off. Rinse and repeat until time!<\/p>\n We did 8 rounds with the exercises consisting of:<\/p>\n It twas fun.<\/p>\n NMM:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n @Tonka was out front all morning and soon quickly began asking for the timer to be 3 minutes rather than 5 minutes. That would roughly only equate to 30 seconds of burpees vs 2 minutes…<\/p>\n @Tonka is the source of the Socialism comment… he was in the lead and he did the most burpees because of it.<\/p>\n @Slowpitch sweats a lot but made it look easy<\/p>\n @Ziffel looked like Cyborg going shirtless for the whole workout<\/p>\n @Head Hunter was on the heels of @Tonka – he graciously started carrying the speaker to the 200m mark so we could enjoy the tunes down there as well.<\/p>\n @Rudolph just cussed the whole time<\/p>\n @HokeyPokey is becoming a regular! 3rd Beatdown and getting after it.
