While in People&#8217;s Chair, we passed the rock down the line and then passed it back. \u00a0Repeato.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the second wall sit\/rock passing, the Pax counted off to form three groups.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Tha Thang<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Using their respective rocks, the pax started with<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 curls<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 overhead press<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 skull crushers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leaving their rocks at the shelter, each group ran to their respective station to start (group 1\/station 1, etc.) to do the designated exercises, thoughtful provided by the Q on a Weinke.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\u200bStation 1\u200b &#8211; playground stairwell<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">Ascending\/descending Tooth Fairy (irkin your way up the stairs, then derkin your way down)<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b15 Bobby Hurleys<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">10 CDDs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Station 2 &#8211; picnic island near shelter<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">step ups\u200b &#8211; L x10<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 dips<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">step ups &#8211; R x10<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 dips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\u200bStation 3 &#8211; picnic island by dog park<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 Irkins<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 Dirkins<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">10 Irkins<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">10 Dirkins<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">5 Irkins<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">5 Dirkins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">After completing each station, groups returned to the shelter, grabbed their rocks, and did<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 curls<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 overhead press<\/li>\n<li class=\"gmail_default\">15 skull crushers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Go to next station and repeato until hit all three stations.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The group then returned the rocks to their home and moseyed towards the bus lot by way of the middle school covered walkway. \u00a0There was a plea for more arm\/upper body work, and fortunately, the Q had that in the plan already.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Starting at one end of the walkway, the Pax bear crawled the distance of two of the covered walkway&#8217;s support posts, did 10 merkins, and then bear crawled another two posts, did another 10 merkins, and repeato until covering the full walkway &#8211; 5 lengths, 50 merkins total.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We then moseyed back to start for some quality Mary.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Plank ~1 min.<\/li>\n<li>American Hammer<\/li>\n<li>Mutton Crunches<\/li>\n<li>Plank ~45 sec.<\/li>\n<li>Heels to Heaven<\/li>\n<li>LBCs<\/li>\n<li>Plank ~30 sec.<\/li>\n<li>Box cutters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FIN!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer requests<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Touch-me-not&#8217;s grandmother passed away last week, so prayers for his family and especially his mother.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>YHC took us out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ardmorerah.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ardmore Race Against Hunger<\/a>\u00a0(RAH!) &#8211; October 21st, 5K\/10K\/fun run<\/li>\n<li>The Mega, Greensboro edition &#8211; October 28th, more details hopefully coming soon, including a sign-up to catch a ride on Fingers&#8217; golf cart.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carolinathunderbirds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carolina Thunderbirds<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; November 3rd,\u00a02F opportunity, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/pre-blast-hockey-the-ultimate-2nd-f\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preblast<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.heart.org\/site\/TR\/HeartWalk\/MAA-MidAtlanticAffiliate?pg=entry&amp;fr_id=2447\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heart Walk<\/a> &#8211; November 11th. \u00a0TPE is seeking Pax to volunteer for parking duty and you&#8217;ll get a unsanctioned t-shirt! Winmars are playing.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.runthejake.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Run the Jake 5K<\/a> &#8211; also November 11th, in Trinity, NC. \u00a0Event honors Spc. Jacob Carroll who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.<\/li>\n<li>Habitat for Humanity &#8211; October 21st, November 18th. See TPE and\/or any of the hundreds of 1st Pres Pax for more info. \u00a0Lunch and a t-shirt!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For some strange reason, four pax (Splash, Fingers, Drama Queen, and Spamalot) showed up at YHC&#8217;s Monday Q <em>and<\/em> today&#8217;s at Mayhem.<\/li>\n<li>YHC also tried not to repeat much from Monday since my legs\/glutes were crazy sore (should&#8217;ve listened to DQ about too many squats). \u00a0Probably upper body&#8217;s turn to bark.<\/li>\n<li>Brookberry was not well represented today.<\/li>\n<li>Jamison Park really is nice, and WS didn&#8217;t skimp on the quality of the picnic tables\/benches, either. \u00a0Solid.<\/li>\n<li>As we were wrapping up at the shelter, Burlap was worried about what happened to his group&#8217;s Weinke . . . tclaps to Pax who are mindful to take care of the Dash&#8217;s AOs.<\/li>\n<li>Kotters to Touch-me-not, who hasn&#8217;t been able to post for a while as he&#8217;s been helping to take care of his grandmother in her last weeks.<\/li>\n<li>The Q assured the Pax that we wouldn&#8217;t be running with their rock, and that was mostly true despite Balco thinking otherwise.<\/li>\n<li>YHC doesn&#8217;t think Quiver knows how to break a sweat.<\/li>\n<li>Rust Bucket takes no shortcuts, even when the Q encourages it.<\/li>\n<li>Splash seemed to enjoy the planking during Mary, despite the form critique that was going on.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of form in general, Huckleberry&#8217;s got the good kind.<\/li>\n<li>Senor Froggy retreated after we got to the shelter b\/c he was under the weather. \u00a0He left his rock with the Pax, so he really, really must have not been feeling it. \u00a0Get well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks for the keys, Splash! \u00a0Always a pleasure to Q such a fine group.<\/p>\n<p>SYITG,<br \/>\nRed Eye<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thirteen Pax elected to take their DRP (which evidently didn&#8217;t agree with one Pax, so we finished with 12) at Mayhem this fine morning. \u00a0Hopefully the side effects for the rest of the Pax will be more positive.
