Maybe you can pick up your new WIB headband from Zephyr. Maybe you can get a decent workout in with some pals. Maybe you&#8217;ll think to yourself, &#8220;Hey, this is a pretty good spot for a WIB, I&#8217;d do this again.&#8221; Maybe you won&#8217;t. Maybe Schlitz will be there. Maybe you&#8217;ll get over 2.5 miles, which used to be #WIBStandard&#8230;just like a formal preblast. I guess you&#8217;ll have to show up to find out.<\/p>\n<p>Launch &#8211; lower lot by tennis courts. .75 mile loop<\/p>\n<p>Gather 0530, brief WoR. So did Rubber Ducky. It&#8217;s pretty awesome. Lamb Chop was not interested since it wasn&#8217;t a neon hat.<\/li>\n<li>We got a decent workout in. More than decent, really. And I do consider each of these HIM a pal.<\/li>\n<li>There was a generally positive response to the location. Zephyr was the most gung-ho about it of the attendees. Lamb Chop doesn&#8217;t love mileage that much so he was less in favor, and we would need to solve the mystery of how to turn the lights on for darker mornings. But overall, the track is in good shape and there&#8217;s a playground for pullups or dips if desired. The walking trail itself is 0.5 miles and if you include the run up to the entrance off Shattalon like we did today it&#8217;s a 0.75 mi loop.<\/li>\n<li>Schlitz was not there today. *sad face emoji*<\/li>\n<li>All pax got over 2.5 miles. Rubber Ducky had to modify the loop due to foot issues and a lack of swimming options, but he still got 2.75. Zephyr led the way with 3.9, because he&#8217;s a machine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Announcements: YHC has Western Front tomorrow. Drip is substi-Q for Ducky at Alcatraz on Saturday. Q school coming up on 8\/8 at Hanes Park, 0900 launch. Brunch to follow.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer requests: Zephyr&#8217;s M &amp; Father-in-law, Rubber Ducky&#8217;s coworker, Lamb Chop&#8217;s work, my sister-in-law. YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the keys, Zephyr!
