On paper, it looked simple.<\/p>\n
Eight hill sprints.<\/p>\n
In reality…<\/p>\n
The humidity made every sprint feel like wading through water… uphill… at a full sprint.<\/p>\n
The hills humbled everyone.<\/p>\n
Despite it being his first Redline in a long time, Yunus quietly set the pace from the front for nearly the entire morning. An impressive showing.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, YHC spent the morning chasing ghosts. Occasionally seeing double, but enjoying the view from the back of the pack just the same.<\/p>\n
At one point, YHC apologized to Yunus for this being his first Redline workout in a long time and encouraged him to return next week for the regularly scheduled programming.<\/p>\n
Jake also made his appearance.<\/p>\n
Zima reminded the group no fewer than six times how glad he was to see Jake.<\/p>\n
Curiously, there were no similar comments directed toward YHC.<\/p>\n
As the final hill came to an end, the PAX turned around and came back for the six.<\/p>\n
Every hill was completed.<\/p>\n
Every step was earned.<\/p>\n
No shortcuts were taken, even if some steps took a little longer than others.<\/p>\n
Eight hills.<\/p>\n
Every step earned.<\/p>\n
Every HIM finished together.<\/p>\n
