{"id":26973,"date":"2026-06-17T07:50:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T11:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=26973"},"modified":"2026-06-17T07:50:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T11:50:14","slug":"tour-de-draftee-stop-7-battle-of-bunker-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2026\/06\/tour-de-draftee-stop-7-battle-of-bunker-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Tour de Draftee Stop #7: Battle of Bunker Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The Thang<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">On the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Tour arrived at Mayhem.<\/p>\n<h3>Part 1 \u2013 The Three Assaults<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Three trips up the hill, OYO.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">At each bend in the path, the PAX stopped to dodge incoming fire:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Burpees (10)<\/li>\n<li>Big Boys (20)<\/li>\n<li>Mountain Climbers (30)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">YHC quickly learned that firing out of the cannon hot has consequences.<\/p>\n<h3>Part 2 \u2013 Parking Lot Ladder<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The original plan called for ladders up and down with DB drills as the mode of travel back to the start each time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The workout was modified to a ladder up only due to time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Rollback questioned the selected mode of transportation early in the evolution. Five minutes later, he agreed it had been the correct decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Three rounds of the seven-rung ladder:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Side Lunges<\/li>\n<li>Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Reverse Lunges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Part 3 \u2013 Whites of Their Eyes<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Partner work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">One PAX held high plank while the other performed American Hammers to fatigue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Then switch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Finish with Mary.<\/p>\n<h2>The Story<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"true\">\n<li>YHC came out of the gate hot during the first assault but quickly found himself attempting to keep pace with Zima and Pele&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>To their credit, both men came back for the six. Leave no man behind. True HIMs.<\/li>\n<li>Plenty of chatter centered around the Tour standings. Rumor has it Rollback and Pele&#8217; hold the early lead, but a full pack remains close behind.<\/li>\n<li>The biggest victory of the morning wasn&#8217;t a hill conquered or a ladder completed but that an FNG posted.\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Trey answered the call.<\/li>\n<li>The name Hairnet received consideration.<\/li>\n<li>But Lunch Lady just seemed right.<\/li>\n<li>Welcome to F3, Lunch Lady.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tour Update<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The first FNG bonus point has entered the chat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Tour remains wide open.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The mission remains unchanged:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Show up. Lift your brother up.
