Instead\u2026they got trapped inside a rotating vortex of burpees, lunges, made-up core exercises, and pull-up misery with random runs sprinkled in because apparently YHC was either naive or ignorant to one tiny detail while planning:<\/p>\n

So naturally: Thanks @van.gogh<\/p>\n YHC decided to take it easy on @Zima since we did a tremendous Leg series on Tuesday at Parliament!<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Crash<\/span><\/span> decided anatomy was optional and started on the opposite leg just to create chaos.<\/p>\n Maybe YHC should’ve thought a little more about being liked at this point because @Zima says “I really like this playlist” and YHC responded, “Glad you like me now.” @Zima…”I didn’t say that…I said I like your playlist. Don’t be putting words in my mouth”<\/p>\n Naturally\u2026<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfc3 Run to the parking lot barrier and back.<\/p>\n Possibly the first documented appearance of exercises nobody asked for:<\/p>\n Gas Pump into American Hammer with the block. Finally decided to use these precious things!<\/p>\n Misery isn\u2019t innovative enough.<\/p>\n Deadlift into Halo rotations with the block.<\/p>\n At this point, abs, shoulders, and dignity were all under attack simultaneously.<\/p>\n YHC actually didn’t call a 3rd exercise (“Toes to the bar”) because, well, after that mercy was more important than misery.<\/p>\n And…obviously\u2026<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfc3 Run again. (Thanks again @van.gogh)<\/p>\n YHC was THIS close to calling:<\/p>\n \u201cBlocks away!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n But then\u2026<\/p>\n Van Gogh<\/span><\/span>, once again choosing violence:<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s next\u20265 of those?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n And before anyone could object:<\/p>\n At this point Zima<\/span><\/span> delivered the universally accepted reaction of:<\/p>\n \u201cWHAT THE FREAK?!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Blocks away. Somehow alive.<\/p>\n Awesome getting to know this HIM better. Iowa native, been posting since last April, and absolutely crushed the burpee series. Got some solid pull-up work in too. Yesterday at Mayhem he wisely told YHC:<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t overthink it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n In hindsight\u2026perhaps YHC should\u2019ve thought just a LITTLE more about including running beforehand.<\/p>\n Thanks again for the WIB keys today. Also, YHC refuses to believe you\u2019re a failure as Site Q\u2026even if Zima<\/span><\/span> may disagree.<\/p>\n Absolutely attacked those negative pull-ups.<\/p>\n Also seemed mildly disappointed YHC never provided the routing and account numbers needed for his apparent offshore Bahamas operation. Thankfully he still made it on time all the way from Nassau, Bahamas overnight and put in the work.<\/p>\n @Crash was probably thinking about flipping off @Zima for weirdly admiring his physique and appealing to @Zephyr that there’s hope for him yet.<\/p>\n Of course, conversation got weird when we all asked “Where’s @Rubber Ducky and his boner pants?”<\/p>\n This HIM is officially part machine. Double, Double Murph week. @Zima thought to push the pace on the first mile to 8:15…wait or maybe that was YHC pushing the pace…still can’t figure out who was pushing who. The debate will continue!<\/p>\n All YHC knows is that on Mile 2, YHC got publicly called out for lagging and had to hit a full sprint finish just to avoid shame.<\/p>\n Also, today was merciful because somehow we avoided 50 squats as opposed to Tuesday’s beatdown at Parliament. #You’reWelcome<\/p>\n After these beatdowns, Zima<\/span><\/span> is fully prepared to suit up for the Thunderbirds<\/span><\/span> next season.<\/p>\n Always great having this HIM out there. HC\u2019d the EC Murph and absolutely crushed it…although he didn’t do the last set of pull-ups, due to the preemptive call for pull ups during the beatdown. It was like he knew YHC’s plan beforehand<\/p>\n Psychic? Possibly.<\/p>\n Intuitive?\u00a0Definitely!<\/p>\n Also absolutely loves volunteering additional extra rounds for the group.
