The hills of Arbor Run did not disappoint and it was a group of Arbor Run residents who know the neighborhood and still were up for the challenge.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nThe thang:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The goal of today was to hit every cul-de-sac off Ridge Gate Drive and \u201cpay our toll\u201d to enter and exit the cul-de-sac. So total reps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>45 very hilly miles<\/li>\n<li>100 merkins (of different variations)<\/li>\n<li>100 WWII\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>100 Carolina Dry Docks<\/li>\n<li>100 American Hammers<\/li>\n<li>10 Burpees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be on the lookout for GreeNest opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Continue to support\/attend Samaritan Ministries\/Project Cornerstone<\/li>\n<li>Slowpitch has the Q at Alcatraz on Saturday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>nmm<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zephyr and I learned today that Drama Queen has now lived in Arbor Run for 20 years\u2026incredible!<\/li>\n<li>We also learned that his dog loved pooping in one of the cul-de-sacs, so we tried to avoid the grassy area, so no one had a code brown situation.<\/li>\n<li>Zephyr was talking about how there was a lot of hills to nowhere at Mayhem on Wednesday and how sore he was, but you never would have noticed. He made the endless hills of Arbor Run look easy and after him and I were walking back up the hill post beatdown, he kicked it into 5<sup>th<\/sup> gear on the way home.<\/li>\n<li>The group was talking about how this may be a record of some sort where all the PAX were able to Walk In and Walk Out (Walk In and Wobble Out for me).<\/li>\n<li>Another thing I learned as I was typing the initial Backblast was that it is Zephyrs 1-year F3iversary. Funny how it works out because Zephyr is what brought me to F3 and I was able to Q on this special day.<\/li>\n<li>There was chatter about getting the endless hills of Arbor Run on the calendar annually to challenge those who want to take on the hills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank y\u2019all for letting me lead today and thank you for the push as YHC has been a little sick lately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zephyr and I have talked multiple times about doing a WIB in Arbor Run and welp, today was the day.
