{"id":26557,"date":"2026-03-18T14:23:55","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T18:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=26557"},"modified":"2026-03-18T14:29:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T18:29:08","slug":"tough-enough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2026\/03\/tough-enough\/","title":{"rendered":"Tough Enough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Warmarama <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSHs, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Hammies<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Thang:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosey to bottom of hill to nowhere.\u00a0 Weinke and 5#, 10#, &amp; 15# dumbbells (2 of each) and a weinke awaited.\u00a0 Pax were instructed to perform 30 reps of one exercise, then run to the top, perform burpees x 5, then run back down and perform the next exercise.\u00a0 If pax were one of the first 3 to complete the exercise, they were to pick up two dumbbells and run up hill and perform burpees with them.\u00a0 Thus, first pax to finish was to pick up the two 15# dumbbells, second picks up two 10# dumbbells, hopefully you get the pattern.\u00a0 Burpees at the top turned into blockees for those aspirational three on each round.\u00a0 Exercises were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dive Bombers<\/li>\n<li>Squats<\/li>\n<li>H2H<\/li>\n<li>Burpees<\/li>\n<li>Lunges (DC)<\/li>\n<li>Glute Bridges<\/li>\n<li>Diamond Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Star Jumps<\/li>\n<li>Low Flutters (DC)<\/li>\n<li>Carolina Dry Docks<\/li>\n<li>Monkey Humpers<\/li>\n<li>H-R Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Blairs<\/li>\n<li>Cobra Crunch (DC)<\/li>\n<li>Apollo Onos (DC)<\/li>\n<li>Hillbillies (DC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finished.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announcements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drip has Distillery Q tomorrow, and YHC has TRQ.<\/li>\n<li>Samaritan Ministries \u2013Monday 4\/20. YHC took us out with thanks to the SkyQ for providing guys to walk \/ run \/ ruck through life with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>NMM:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All-Star cast of old codgers and new(ish) blood. Great to see RC for the first time in a minute.<\/li>\n<li>Only miss by YHC was leaving the boombox speaker at home. YHC\u2019s iPhone speaker had to suffice.<\/li>\n<li>This morning reminded YHC to avoid gaining unnecessary weight at all costs, and carrying weights while running turned into an incredible shoulder workout. Rollback figured out a solution of laying the weights on his shoulders, but YHC couldn\u2019t figure out how to get comfortable with it.\n<ul>\n<li>Weights with running has a long, infamous history in Dashland.
