Recently as YHC was seeking Q\u2019s for the premiere Saturday beatdown AO, YHC noticed that Valentine\u2019s Day was on a Saturday. Yes, I had to grab it before another PAX wasted a themed opportunity. The week of the beatdown, let\u2019s hype this thing up.<\/p>\n

Warm-O-Rama<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mission Statement \/ 5 Core Principles perfectly spoken<\/p>\n

Normal time wasters with 5 burpees to warm our hearts<\/p>\n

The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enter Subfloor\u2019s Valentine\u2019s Day team beatdown. Line up in the back parking lot to choose teams. YHC knows no one wants to be picked last for a team, so let\u2019s crab walk to the island and split up. Whoever is first goes left, second right, third left, and so on. Not sure we followed this exactly, but we had two teams of four.<\/p>\n

Mosey to Discipline Center for first challenge: Team Name. Each team selects one member to go head to head while the rest of PAX does same. 1 Monkey Humper, 4 Squats, 2 Monkey Humper, 8 Squats all the way up to 10 and 40. Stole this from a Starfish Valentine\u2019s Day Q. Whoever wins the head to head, that team gets to pick team name and 1 point, Britney or Christina.<\/p>\n

Mosey to blocks where they were appropriately laid out for next challenge: Flowers. Team in lead gets to pick flower, Roses or Tulip. Each team member completes x14 of each exercise to complete a round over 15 minutes. Add up all team members fully completed rounds to get points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mosey to wall for next challenge: Chocolate. Each team selects one member to go head to head in Balls to the Wall while everyone else does People\u2019s Chair. Team who lasts longest gets point and picks chocolate: nuts or no nuts. Mosey back to blocks. Team that selected nuts get bricks. All do 2 rounds of x14 Nutcrackers.<\/p>\n

    • Not sure what it is, but YHC has not been able to split PAX into teams easily in any beatdown.<\/li>\n
    • The two teams were:\n
        \n
      • Britney \u2013 Head Hunter, Tonka, Drip, Ziggy<\/li>\n
      • Christina \u2013 Adobe, Cruiser, Crash, Subfloor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Head Hunter and Adobe went head to head, with HH narrowly beating out A even after a murph for 1 point.<\/li>\n
      • Head Hunter selected Britney first for team name for 5 points leaving the other team with Christina and a surprising 10 points. Challenge one goes to team Christina.<\/li>\n
      • Team Christina was in the lead so selected Tulip leaving Roses for Team Britney which crushed a total of 32 rounds to 26.<\/li>\n
      • All knew that Ziggy had the Balls to the Wall challenge locked in for Team Britney so Team Christina thought youth might be their only hope and selected Cruiser. It was a valiant attempt from Cruiser, but Ziggy lasted longer and 10 points for his team. Cruiser thought the only way to make it fair was for Ziggy to wear Tonka\u2019s vest like a diaper. Adobe, next week idea?<\/li>\n
      • Since Ziggy won, he got his pick of Nuts or No Nuts for the Chocolate Challenge. He selected Nuts which got his team bricks and Team Christina, with what? 15 points? The professor was out psyop\u2019d by the student.<\/li>\n
      • PAX wondered what the difference was between 2 rounds of x14 and one round of x28. A slight rest of course.<\/li>\n
      • By this point Team Britney thought the whole thing was rigged, even though they had the choice in both Challenges that got points.<\/li>\n
      • Not sure who picked first, but Team Britney chose Funny and Team Christina chose Mushy, with 53 and 42 points respectively.<\/li>\n
      • As we returned to start, YHC declared a tie to much cheers or was it groans. So we all did the Diamond merkin ring of fire.<\/li>\n
      • After judges reviewed the tape, it was determined Team Britney won with 101 points narrowly beating Team Christina with 93.<\/li>\n
      • Hopefully the beatdown inspired the PAX on what to give that special person on this made up holiday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
