As we were leaving, Rollback warned us to “watch out for any cayote’s” (very encouraging). You know what they say, all you have to do is outrun the people you are with…well I would have been toast if we came across a not so friendly animal.

Rollback ate burpees for breakfast and some alphabet soup for lunch. He also challenged me on Monday for bringing a weighted vest for a pre-ruck but not wearing it during the workout. Challenge accepted today. Only thing is, Rollback makes these workouts look too easy, vest or not.

Ziffel showed up on Ziffel time and was ready to work. At one point during a “light” active recovery lap he kicked it into 5th gear and sprinted in front. Tonka saw this as a challenge and the 2 were off. No idea who won though but I did see a fist bump.

toot is an inspiration. Just wakes up in the morning, makes everything look easy, toots in the process and heads out to make a difference during the day. We did get some “ELEVEN” during warmups.

I finally had the courage to tell Cruiser he looked exactly like a friend of mine, ran like a friend of mine and that it was a good thing. I told him as much and that my friend and former roommate played major league baseball and Cruiser went on to tell me he played a couple years of ball himself.

Subfloor is another inspiration. Him and Cruiser were chatting away about football and you would have thought he didn’t work out at all because he makes all the exercises look too easy.

Wahoo was wearing a Redskins (oh wait Commanders) sweatshirt. YHC was wearing a Giants toboggin. On a light active recovery lap, I think he told me that the Giants suck (some friendly smack talk for this week’s game). He also asked if we were going to make it through the alphabet and I proceeded to tell him that there is no letter left behind.

Thank y’all for letting me lead today.

It was a cold morning and what better season is there than soup season!?
