YHC had been trying to decipher Adobe’s erudite and enigmatic preblast from a couple of weeks ago that had somehow led us to the second Distillery site nearby. There were a lot of numbers and equations which had YHC pull out his old college textbook before just letting grok do the explaining. Turns out we would be lab testing Isaac Newton’s second law of motion which YHC figured could also be what we all know of as entropy – any exertion of energy leads to something resembling Mary on our sixes.<\/p>\n
WARM UPS:<\/p>\n

ALL THINGS BURPEE<\/p>\n
To get the heart rate up, PAX performed 2 reps of each burpee variation, ran to the end of the parking lot , one burpee, then return.<\/p>\n
1-Regular Burpee<\/p>\n
2-Body Builders\u00a0 (go to plank, merkin,\u00a0 do a plank jack, return to standing)<\/p>\n
3-4×4 Burpee (go to plank, 4 merkins, 4 mountain climbers, return to standing)<\/p>\n
4-KrakenBurpees (add three hand release merkins)<\/p>\n
5-Squatees (begin burpee from squat position, return to squat position, then to standing)<\/p>\n
THREE STATION CIRCUIT<\/p>\n
Do listed number of reps in descending order: 20 – 15 -10 -5 -10….. (three exercises per station).<\/p>\n
Mode of transport to each station lunge walk with block. Modified version: murder bunnies.<\/p>\n
Station 1: Chest Presses \/ Low Flutters \/ Raise Block and take it behind the head and back up (forgot the name of this one)<\/p>\n
Station 2: Squat Thrusters \/ Teapots \/ Curls<\/p>\n
Station 3: Overhead Press \/ Kettle Bell Swings \/ Skull Crushers<\/p>\n
Made it to Station 2 starting the ascent back to 10 reps<\/p>\n
MARY:<\/p>\n
LBCs and plank to finish.<\/p>\n

Ziffel made a dramatic and flawless arrival weaving around the cones YHC had placed to mark the stations in the parking lot, arriving punctually.<\/p>\n
Tonka and Ziffel amped it up and were neck in neck till the war baby took a commanding lead (side bets may or may not have been made). This man’s foot is definitely fully back in business!<\/p>\n
Adobe and Slowpitch impressed with their move from the lunge walk to full murder bunny option (one PAX may have held off and kept to the unmodified transport)<\/p>\n
Blind Date is still on the mend but has been making it out and walking circles around the PAX!<\/p>\n
Newton’s law was confirmed and all passed with our WB top of the class and everyone else a strong second.<\/p>\n
Some may have moved on to the second Distillery site aka Buscuitville for some R&R after the beatdown.<\/p>\n
