{"id":25598,"date":"2025-08-13T10:26:30","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T14:26:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=25598"},"modified":"2025-08-13T10:26:30","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T14:26:30","slug":"the-return-of-lysol-the-debut-of-bloomers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2025\/08\/the-return-of-lysol-the-debut-of-bloomers\/","title":{"rendered":"The Return of Lysol, the Debut of Bloomers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Frank \u2018n Beans sent out the bat signal last week for a Q.\u00a0 Knowing that posting motivation would be low the week after Ragnar, YHC snapped it up as incentive to get back going.\u00a0 Lingering effects from the race incentivized a milder plan than otherwise would have occurred.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Warmarama:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSHs, Standing Hammies, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Up\/Down Dawgs, Cherry Pies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>The Thang:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Short mosey to the playground area.\u00a0 Pax were informed that there were four stations scattered around the perimeter, each with 3 exercises on the weinkes.\u00a0 Instructions were to rotate around the stations and perform 5 reps of each exercise, adding 5 reps each round.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Station 1 \u2013 Picnic tables: Dips, Step-Ups (DC), X-Factors<\/li>\n<li>Station 2 \u2013 Top of stairs: Derkins, Calf Raises, Prom Dates<\/li>\n<li>Station 3 \u2013 Far side of playground picnic tables: Dive Bombers, Squats, Heels to Heaven<\/li>\n<li>Station 4 \u2013 Swings: Pull-ups, Toy Soldiers,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Around round 4 (0608), either Frostbite or Lysol said something like, \u201cYou can\u2019t let the FNG not experience the Intimidator!\u201d\u00a0 So, everyone aborted their current exercise and ran up to Jersey.\u00a0 That was fun and smart.<\/p>\n<p>We hustled back to launch for 2 minutes of Mary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>P<\/strong>enguin Crunch<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>merican Hammers<\/li>\n<li><strong>L<\/strong>ow Flutters + LBCs<\/li>\n<li><strong>I<\/strong>mperial Troopers<\/li>\n<li><strong>N<\/strong>o-Cheat (Hand-Release) Merkins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finished.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announcements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GreenNest is Saturday; Spicoli will be the remote Q. Reach out to him if you can help.<\/li>\n<li>We need 2 \u2013 3 volunteers for Samaritan Ministry on Monday night. Commitment is 5:00 \u2013 7:30 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Prayer Requests:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frostbite\u2019s brother exiting treatment center.<\/li>\n<li>Those struggling with addiction and \/ or stress from economic factors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>YHC prayed us out.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>NMM:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frostbite had tipped YHC off about Lysol\u2019s planned attendance + his bringing an FNG. JJ Mallet is an NC State grad, is currently completing his graduate business degree remotely at State, works at Hanes in <em>marketing<\/em> data analytics, including intimates, but wishes he was working at Reynolds.\u00a0 Oh, and he\u2019s dating Lysol\u2019s 2.0.\u00a0 Lots of material.\u00a0 We explored something related to Lysol (Clorox, Windex), but several pax wisely objected on the grounds that we\u2019d have a real problem if the relationship didn\u2019t work out.\u00a0 YHC thought \u201cVictoria\u2019s Microbe\u201d would be great, but the length was objected to by Palin.\u00a0 Lysol said something that made YHC think of <em>Fruit of the Loom<\/em>, and Bloomers rhymes with Loom.\u00a0 Lysol endorsed the idea once it was clarified that it would be plural Bloomers and not singular Bloomer.\u00a0 Welcome, Bloomers!<\/li>\n<li>Nantan Emeritus Lysol gave current Nantan Frostbite a lot of grief about his tardy arrival.<\/li>\n<li>The Palin acrostic for the Mary portion was generated last weekend during Ragnar by several pax who all expressed a yearning for the bearded man to be among us. He was touched.<\/li>\n<li>Turnover\u2019s attendance was a pleasant surprise. He and Bloomers both performed their calf raises perched upon the wall in the circle which seemed difficult.\u00a0 The rest of us went the staircase route.<\/li>\n<li>Spicoli was early today! He and Frostbite traded roles, with the Nantan pulling in as we are actively engaged in warmarama.\u00a0 Spicoli warned YHC off from the pool as the cool weather last week and rain this week has turned the water frigid.<\/li>\n<li>YHC really intended to not run up the Intimidator today, having gauged it during a pre-workout walk, but felt pressured by the pax to not deny Bloomers the experience.
