Contrary to popular belief, YHC knew what I was doing and deliberately sought out some hills. MMR said 370&#8242; and Garmin tracked it at just over 300&#8242;, but the elevation gain felt far more extreme than that. Greenspan, Rollback, Doublewide, Chomper, and Schlitz all got a RIRO too.<\/p>\n<p>OGs: https:\/\/www.mapmyrun.com\/routes\/view\/6591216211<\/p>\n<p>Tractors: https:\/\/www.mapmyrun.com\/routes\/view\/6591220628<\/p>\n<p>The hills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(fine) Cloverdale\/Magnolia from Miller St to Queen St.<\/li>\n<li>(better than expected) Hawthorne from Knollwood to Bolton<\/li>\n<li>(ugh) Cherokee from Kenwood to Miller<\/li>\n<li>(short but sweet) Ardsley from Fenimore to Madison<\/li>\n<li>(long, unanticipated, and exhausting) (that&#8217;s what she said) Brent St. from Ardsley to Elizabeth<\/li>\n<li>(nut punch) Elizabeth from Lockland to Hawthorne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rollback told me he hated me and compared my route to a Zima route. Schlitz told me to f off and my mustache is ugly. Greenspan said he no longer enjoys running. Doublewide flipped me off. Chomper said that was hard. Wham-O voiced some displeasure at the Brent hill. Pollster said &#8220;tough route.&#8221; Tax Break didn&#8217;t seem any worse for the wear. Mongoose and Wink ran Tractors, but Mongoose is the source of the backblast title. JB didn&#8217;t say much at all. Balco &amp; Bout Time were gone by the time CoT commenced, so I missed the window of opportunity for any compliments.<\/p>\n<p>YHC took us out with gratitude and lifted up Van Gogh &amp; crew.<\/p>\n<p>Boo Boo, I&#8217;ll take the keys any time.
