YHC arrived at Sherwood a few minutes early. Spotted the Wobegon Wagon and knew he was getting in an EC 2 miles. Tami strolled up and soon it was 530. We warmed up with my usual, making sure to limber up shoulders and back. The Plan called for partner work but was prepared to make do with our \u201cpair of 3\u201d when Rubber Ducky rolled in just as we were making our way to the BBall court. Yay! \u00a0Partners chosen for the first part of The Thang:<\/p>\n
Dora Plus: 100 merkins while partner bear crawls to midcourt and back. \u00a0200 squats while partner lunge walks to endline and back, 300 LBC and partner toy soldier walks to endline and back.
\nThen to big white wall for Wall Ball Crawl (crowd pleaser as usual).<\/p>\n
Then to playground for 3 rounds of 10 pull-ups, 20 WWII, 30 merkins (maybe heard some grumble-chatter from Ducky about the merkin total \ud83d\ude05)<\/p>\n
Back to start for Mary: \u00a0all x 15 in cadence\u2014 Freddie Merc, lo Dolly, Mutton crunch, lo flutter, lo flutter again, heels to Heaven, and errbody\u2019s favorite, 3 Huck merkins (again with the grumble-chatter! \ud83e\udd28\ud83e\udd23). Done! \u00a0With 28 seconds to spare I heard. \u00a0Should\u2019ve done 1 more Huck. You\u2019re welcome \u00a0\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
This beastly bunch killed the workout. We all got a little stronger. Got some good conversations during Dora. We let the blocks rest today. Perfect weather and a nice way to start the week.
