Sooooo, I was scheduled to Q for the first time at Conspiracy. I was super stoked. Just a “little rain” in the forecast. No biggie.<\/p>\n
HAH!!! We’ll get to that in a minute. Winter monsoons are so much fun in North Carolina.
\nLet’s jump right in…<\/p>\n
I pulled up into the lot, and to my surprise, I wasn’t the only one there. Two other cars, lights on, heat on. We can fix that. Warm-O-RAMA:<\/strong><\/p>\n Usual suspects here. But, the quarters were ever so tight under the shelter. Oh well, at least it was dry.<\/p>\n SSH, Abe V, Whirly, some Broga…. Enough of that.<\/p>\n The <\/strong>(Modified) THANG:<\/strong><\/p>\n Okay, the original plan had 2 parts. Both parts were to take place in a space larger than public bathroom stall. So we had to make them fit.<\/p>\n Part 1.<\/p>\n Merkin Party. ( Do multiple merkin routines under shelter, then run to the end of the track and back )<\/p>\n 1- Ranger Merkins ( 10X ) 2- Merkin Jax ( 5X ) 3- Mountain Climber Merkins ( 5X ) 4- One Legged Merkins ( 5x \/ 5x )<\/p>\n – Merkin Jax are 1 Merkin and then 4 Plank Jacks.. Then 2\/8, 3\/12, 4\/16, 5\/20 We did this twice.<\/p>\n Part 2.<\/p>\n 11’s ! Very soggy 11’s.<\/p>\n At 1 side ( under the shelter ) you do Wojo Squats. We only got about half way through this routine as we were getting completely soaked and it hurt a lot. So the Q called an Omaha. ( Blind Date was like, “What’s an Omaha?” I explained… to which he replied, ” Oh…Now I know. Didn’t know that was a thing…Thanks for telling me guys! Didn’t know that was an option..” ) LOL!<\/p>\n OMAHA: Part3.<\/p>\n Since there were only 3 PAX for the shred fest today, I decided to call a “modified” 7 Layer Dip.<\/p>\n 1 PAX does 10 Abyss Merkins, while the other PAX does Dips. Rotate through all PAX.<\/p>\n Then, 10 Abyss Merkins – Irkins. Then 10 Abyss Merkins – Dips. Then 10 Abyss Merkins – Dirkins. Then 10 Abyss Merkins – Dips.<\/p>\n Ouch Again.<\/p>\n MARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n Had a few minutes left so we did the following IC.<\/p>\n 1. LBFK ( Little Baby Flutter Kicks ) 2. WWII’s – 10x\u00a0 3. Mutton Crunch 10x( L&R ) 4. Speedy WWII’s 10x.<\/p>\n TIME!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n COT:<\/strong><\/p>\n Announcements: Greenest this weekend. Samaritians Dinner next Mondy, still need a couple of dudes.<\/p>\n Prayers: Prayers for Lambchop and his M. Prayers for All injured or sick PAX…including the Site Q.<\/p>\n YHC took us out.<\/p>\n NMM:<\/strong><\/p>\n Gentlemen. Thank you times 1000. It took a whole lotta #HIM power to show up this morning.<\/p>\n Blind Date is still killing it! Dudes 2 months in and posting like 4-5 times a week. Greenspan was kind enough to crawl alongside YHC while we were running during the routine. After his Redline Q yesterday, I really didn’t have that much<\/em> running planned. There was a lot more bear crawling, but…pffft ! Not this morning. We probably would have drowned.<\/p>\n You guys are awesome.<\/p>\n Need to run it back at this site again pretty soon. Awesome spot.<\/p>\n Frank and Beans… First time Q’ing here….didn’t know the place had a set of keys? I’m sure they are half way to the Atlantic Ocean by now with all the rain today. \nAt the other side ( across the bridge and up the stairs beside the playground ) you do Daniel-Son’s<\/p>\n
\nAnd, word on the street is, he’s looking forward to the possibility of a resurrected Bourbon Chase team. Might be the year !?<\/p>\n
