This happened to be the day after my Dad\u2019s 72<sup>nd<\/sup> birthday. No better way to celebrate than create a beatdown in his honor. A beatdown like I used to get with a belt back in the day. Haha, just kidding. It was with a wooden spoon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-O-Rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mission Statement \/ 5 Core Principles<\/p>\n<p>SSHs 26x<\/p>\n<p>Other time wasters<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosey to cover picnic area to moveable picnic tables. I wasn\u2019t sure, but glad to find that we could move them. Several PAX were eager to help move these tables into the right position that they would later regret.<\/p>\n<p>In honor of my Dad\u2019s birthday, January 26, 1953, we did the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Burpee<\/li>\n<li>26 Calf raises<\/li>\n<li>19 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>53 LBCs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See what I did there Cruiser?<\/p>\n<p>Then we spelled DAD with 6 sets of 12 reps each = 72:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>ips<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>byss Merkins (these were crowd pleasers)<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>wight Howards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After that we repeato\u2019d the birthday exercises above and moved to the second set of DAD 6 x 12 = 72<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>erkins<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>labama Prom Dates<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>an Taylors (1 squat and 4 lunges)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Decided to skip the next repeato and move right into the last DAD 6 x 12 = 72<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>erkin N\u2019Diaves<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>merican Hammers<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>ying Cockroaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We didn\u2019t have enough time to finish the last set and I think everyone was okay with that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hold plank until time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CoT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pray for aging parents.<\/li>\n<li>Spicoli is the Q at Alcatraz and is looking for Qs for Urban Assault.<\/li>\n<li>Still time to give to HOPE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blind Date said the first set of Abyss Merkins were perfect form, but started to fade after that.<\/li>\n<li>Adobe asked if my Dad liked music? I replied I couldn\u2019t find a lot of songs about fathers. Maybe I should have picked my Dad\u2019s favorite songs, if I knew what they were? Homework for the PAX, find out your Dad\u2019s favorite songs.<\/li>\n<li>Cruiser thought it couldn\u2019t get worse than Abyss Merkins. Boy was he wrong.<\/li>\n<li>I think Wahoo forgo counting and just followed YHC.<\/li>\n<li>Spicoli helped explain why we cannot use certain words anymore.<\/li>\n<li>DQ and SC were in the back so I didn\u2019t hear much of their mumble chatter, but I think I did surprise them with some exercises they hadn\u2019t done before.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday the 27th in the year 2025 of our Lord.
