The forecast was ice, it was definitely going to be wet, and the temp was 34.\u00a0 Not ideal conditions but this did not deter 9 WS PAX from getting out of the warm bed and risking it for a Monday at The Iron Throne.\u00a0 YHC had the keys and knew what the weather was and what the pax needed.\u00a0 I was also aware that a certain pax who I will not name (but is referred to as the seltzer from the late 90’s) has a birthday this week and was hoping he would show up…….<\/p>\n
Warm o rama – SSH, IW, Abe V, Michael Phelps all IC.\u00a0 and 20 burpees OYO to get us warmed up.<\/p>\n
Lamp Chop requested we move to the covered area next to the school so that we had a dry spot.\u00a0 As any generous Q would, we took off in the opposite direction. Mosey to the road\/hill about 1\/4 mile away – where there is no tree cover and the water is all running towards the bottom.<\/p>\n
the thang – partner up. as a team, complete 10 rounds. one partner runs to the top of the hill and back while the other partner does exercises.\u00a0 switch and continue till you complete 10 rounds.<\/p>\n
one round – 20 dying cockroaches (lying on your back created a dry spot for the pax – kindness), 15 ground slapping squats (at least the ground was dry), 10 superman merkins (at the bottom of merkin, do a superman with arms out in from and feet off the ground -which was dry from the cockroaches – thoughtfulness), 5 burpees.<\/p>\n

Next, we moseyed half way up the hill. due to the pax turning 46, I thought we could all celebrate this.\u00a0 23 burpees the backwards run up the hill, 23 merkins at the top, run back down, 23 merkins at the bottom, backwards run up the hill for 23 burpees at the top.<\/p>\n
mosey back to start – short on time so we did 1 huck merkin.<\/p>\n

Zima just appeared….out of nowhere.\u00a0 Happy he joined so he could partake in the celebration<\/p>\n
tonka was on crutches…….in the rain…..doing the exercises.\u00a0 Where were you???<\/p>\n
Bagpipe was the motivator, thanks for the push.<\/p>\n
Ziggy and Rachel Ray just get it done.\u00a0 no complaints, no concerns, just doing the work<\/p>\n
Lamb Chop and The duck were out in front, making it look easy – one wanted to get wet, the other not so much<\/p>\n
Greenspan……well he crushed it.\u00a0 and then just kept going.\u00a0 and going.\u00a0 and going.\u00a0 i guess he needed to run something off<\/p>\n
