YHC proclaimed that the EC run would start at 0500 on the dot, and rolled in the parking lot at 0502 to find a couple of loiterers. Thankfully they didn’t leave me behind, but they’re bad at following directions. The run was excellent<\/p>\n
YHC had a plan concocted that would use the field (I love the field) but after Turnover’s late night announcement I made a brief change to keep everyone a little closer together. It went a little something like this:<\/p>\n
0530 – 5 burpees (to be repeated every 5MOM)<\/p>\n
0530:30 – WoR. SSH, IW, Abe V, Whirlies, Arm-o-rama<\/p>\n
0534 – Mosey to the basketball court by the playground<\/p>\n
0535 – 5 burpees<\/p>\n
0535:30 – begin the thang<\/p>\n
The aforementioned Thang:<\/span><\/p>\n J<\/strong>ump Squats, I<\/strong>mperial Walkers (dc), N<\/strong>o cheat merkins (shout out to @Zima), G<\/strong>orilla Humpers, L<\/strong>ow flutter, E<\/strong>lectric Chair<\/p>\n Complete 10 of each, then run a lap. Then 20, lap, 30, lap, 20, lap, 10, lap.<\/p>\n 0607 – return to launch for Mary<\/p>\n B<\/strong>icycles, E<\/strong>2k both sides (mutton crunches),\u00a0L<\/strong>ow Dolly, L<\/strong>bcs,\u00a0S<\/strong>quat Reachers (a new exercise I invented). Lots of confusion about spelling here, somehow. Those in need of remediation were directed to the school building.<\/p>\n Happy Holiday season everyone. This, as most simple weinkes are, was a brutally challenging beatdown. We were originally going to do this on the field with six stations, but the burpee challenge presented a new mandated, and anticipating Lamb Chop’s presence I made an effort to incorporate them into the thang. Also, this way more people would be together instead of a WIB-like division of labor(ers). The only problem was my speaker died about 15 mins into the workout, so I had to call it out the rest of the way. Bagpipe was out in front with Frostbite on his tail. Had some good conversation between labored breaths about the futility of being a football fan with Turnover. Schlitz and Rubber Ducky were their usual jovial selves. Green Acres and Superfly opted to shorten the runs but put in the work on the exercises. Drip, per usual, was very complimentary. Wooly Bugger was critical of the WFU Football shade being thrown out #rememberwhereyoucamefrom. From what I could gather, everyone seemed to have a nice Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n F3 Holiday Party friday 6-9 (nice) at Bar Nola. Frostbite has Flatline tomorrow. Drip has Conspiracy Wednesday. There will be\u00a0NO Impossible Situation on Saturday<\/strong> due to the Mistletoe – good luck to all our runners!
