#It’sNotThatFar
\nIt’s true. I make this trek daily on the way to work….but I had to get up a weee bit early this morning to make my way to TRQ. Love this spot and the site Q, a true HIM. So, a few months back when talking to Green Acres at GreeNest, he mentioned coming back out to Speas. I told him I couldn’t do the day he was asking, but I did have a certain Thursday in mind in June. He was good with it. So today was the day.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, I had a couple of other HIM’s that said they “were in” to make the trek with me this morning. Thank you Subfloor and Cruiser. This week would have been MORE ROUGH without you gents.<\/p>\n

So we rolled in at 5:20 and actually saw a car leaving. Parking lot now empty… I was like, “well crap boys, breakfast is one me.” We gave it a few more minutes before making our escape route, thankfully so. The cars began rolling in….and they didn’t stop. I hurried to go setup the visual aids.<\/p>\n

5:30…time to get to work.<\/p>\n

SSH, IST, Abe V, Windmills, Arm Swirlies F&B, OH Clap..(Make them bigger didn’t work here ). All IC. Everyone was warm…. Go Time.<\/p>\n

The Thang:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Okay, first off… when I was finalizing the “visual aids” for this beatdown, the plan sounded pretty good in my head, but I was working on 3.5 hrs of sleep. My graphic artist may<\/em> have made a boo boo with the final product. But no excuses….I take the blame for how the explanation didn’t quiet “add up” \\ multiply? Right brain vs left brain? I dunno.<\/p>\n

The plan was to celebrate the year 1979 ( certainly not with the playlist #SMH ). The number in the year was the starting point for each exercise rep. First 1, 9, 7, 9 you do the exercise with that many reps. At station 5-8 we were doing double that…2, 18, 14, 18. AND THEN…back to the beginning via Apollo Creed. When you get back to the start add an additional 1, 9, 7, 9…..not multiply. ( 3, 27, 21, 27 ). And so on and so forth. ( My graphics guys didn’t “illustrate” this and I didn’t bring LCD monitors ). Q Fail.<\/p>\n

And basically, you keep increasing. No stops. Bear Crawl and Lunge Walk, alternating from station to station. That kinda happened… \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 See below for all the stations:<\/p>\n

See….they were SOOOOOO pretty! And in the end, everyone was Juicy and had a fun time picking on the Q for not being able to count past 3. Win Win. I’m already ready to come back. And please, feel free to “borrow” this one, just explain it better than I did. I plan on speaking to my Accountant later.<\/p>\n

All in all most PAX stayed together and the mumblechatter was AMAZING.<\/p>\n

Group 2 waited until the lead pack were done with their Merkins, and then the Q decided to call it. Time for some:<\/p>\n

We had a FNG this morning. Tide Pod ( Previously David ). Bam nailed the name. Dude was wearing Christmas socks…so there was a joke about doing laundry… and that’s where we ended up. Perfect fit. Welcome Tide Pod. Strong work this morning brother.<\/p>\n

So much great mumblechatter. This group of guys are top notch. Love coming over to TRQ. Need to get some of you guys over to Parliament ( Green Acres, Bam? Been a while )<\/p>\n

Everyone stayed close in the first few rounds…think it was out of confusion. All a part of the Q’s master plan. Then, the lead pack started to break away. Cruiser, D-Day, Argyle, Candyland, maybe one other dude. Dolly? I know Bam caught up with them ( #beast ) towards the end. You guys were killing it.
\nInspector Gadget continues to be a EH’ing Machine! You young bucks are turning out and absolutely murdering these workouts. Dr. Claw, Wahoo….T-Claps gents. I’m ready to see one of your guys Q’s. You’ll need to bring the wheel barrow to pick up the bodies after.<\/p>\n

Boomerang…I’ll bring my abacus next time.<\/p>\n

Subfloor and Ziggy, I promise after this week I will step up my playlist game. 1979…..311? #Cobains. Darn you Spotify!<\/p>\n

Bam….great catching up with you a little this morning. You have been killing the distance runs so far this year brother. Well done.<\/p>\n
