Fortunately, @Starfish offered up the idea of a <strong>Steely Dan<\/strong> play list, which was great, but still no exercises. After Googling bootcamp ideas, YHC found this thing called a &#8220;6&#215;6&#8221; workout. Seemed like a good idea &#8211; 6 reps of anything doesn&#8217;t seem too bad. And if &#8220;6&#215;6&#8221; is good, a &#8220;6x6x6&#8221; would be even better, right? Well, YHC should have gotten a clue that three 6&#8217;s together is bad mojo, and when the radio played <em>Mr Crowley<\/em> on the way in, it was a foreboding of the hell to come&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Still, 18 PAX gathered unwittingly in the cool(er) but humid gloom of #TheEstate for a Labor Day convergence that, on paper, didn&#8217;t seem too bad. What was to follow could sub for the next installment of the &#8220;Saw&#8221; movie series&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>6&#215;6 Warm-o-rama:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6 reps each repeato x6 OYO<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSH + Running w\/ Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Mountain Climbers + Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Overhead Claps + IST<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Mosey to the &#8220;Waterfall Field&#8221;&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>6x6x6 Workout from hell<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Gather in the middle of the soccer field<\/em><\/li>\n<li>x6 Burpees in the middle of the field<\/li>\n<li>6&#215;6 for the exercises at each of the six &#8220;corners&#8221; of the field<\/li>\n<li>Run back to the middle &amp; <strong>repeato<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Squats + Squat Jumps<\/li>\n<li>Diamond Merkins + CDD<\/li>\n<li>Lunges + Back Lunges (alternate legs each set)<\/li>\n<li>Hand Release Merkins + Makhtar N&#8217;Diaye<\/li>\n<li>Turkish Getups + Prisoner Getups<\/li>\n<li>Pickle Pounder + Monkey Humpers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>While we&#8217;re at the field, we decided we might as well do the ever popular <strong>Tunnel of Love<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And we&#8217;re spent&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>Mosey back to start for&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low Flutter x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Low Dolly x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Freddie Mercury x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Superman\/Banana<\/li>\n<li>Rosalita x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Juanita x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>LBC x20 IC<\/li>\n<li>Body Destroyer x10 IC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annoucements &amp; moleskin<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>F3 WS website (<a href=\"http:\/\/f3wistonsalem.com\">f3wistonsalem.com<\/a>):<\/strong> The Google Calendar is on the &#8220;workouts&#8221; page. <strong>Attn: Site Q&#8217;s<\/strong> &#8211; Please make sure the Google Calendar is populated with your schedules<\/li>\n<li><strong>F3 Expansion:<\/strong> Chicago 9\/23, St Louis 10\/14, Austin 10\/28. If you know any men in those cities, send their names &amp; email addresses to @f3nation.com (e.g.<br \/>\nstlouis@f3nation.com)<\/li>\n<li>@CapriSun informed us that @VanGogh did not use proper form on the #BodyDestroyers; he was probably doing a #Murph or something&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Seems like most everybody (YHC included) hated this workout; I guess I did my job (the verdict is in: YHC is a <em>jerk<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>@Jiminy had actually posted to #VI this morning, but thanks to <strong>#Slack<\/strong> (and @VanGogh), he got the notification to come to #TheEstate. (I think he wishes he would have missed it after all&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Debate over the efficacy of #Slack continues, with two camps emerging:<br \/>\nthe @VanGogh camp (pro) and the @Mongoose camp (contra).
