Okay, before we get started on this little ditty I need to clarify a couple of things.<\/p>\n

  1. I believe it was on the way back from Parliament on Tuesday, Cruiser stated \\ asked\u2026 \u201c So, you\u2019ve got Distillery on Thursday. ( ? ) I\u2019m in.\u201d And that certainly came as news to me\u2026lol. I had to verify. <\/em>YUP, sure enough, I did. #Let\u2019sRoll<\/li>\n
  2. The title of this Backblast is not accurate. I didn\u2019t write it down on a cocktail napkin. However, the impromptu nature of the things that were about to unfold would lead one to believe that the beatdown could have<\/em> originated on a cocktail napkin. Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same napkin\u2026.errrr\u2026 you get it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Warm-O-RAMA:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Everyone must have been excited about the PreBlast! With overnight rain and potentially more coming, along with the threat by the Q to take a mosey \\ run through the neighborhood, I was surprised to see so many cars in the parking lot.<\/p>\n

    Started off moseying West down Clemmons Rd.\u00a0 1st<\/sup> Q Fail happened here. \u201c I think there\u2019s a sidewalk in front of the church.\u201d NOPE!<\/strong> Let\u2019s just run through the wet grass then.<\/u><\/p>\n

    Made it to the corner of Clemmons and Stadium.<\/p>\n

    • 20 Merkins OYO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Off again, to the corner of Clemmons and James St.<\/p>\n

        \n
      • 40 Merkins OYO\u00a0 ( I think I heard a \u201c super creative workout here Adobe !\u201d )<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Continuing on, North on James St to the first entrance of Clemmons Elementary.<\/p>\n

        • 20 Monkey Humpers OYO\u00a0 ( \u201c in front of a school Adobe !?\u201d )<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Keep running up James St., turn East on Bingham Ave. and halfway down, stop<\/p>\n

          • 40 Monkey Humpers OYO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            All the way to the end of Bingham Ave.<\/p>\n

              \n
            • 20 WWII\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Finally, run back to the Stadium entrance of Distillery.<\/p>\n

              • 40 WWII\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Then run back to the main parking lot\u2026\u2026 NEXT!<\/p>\n

                PAX were instructed to get into 2 Teams. ( By teams, I was really going for a 3 man grinder kind of a setup, but what ended up happening worked out just fine. )<\/p>\n

                1. Two PAX would run suicides ( increase 2 spaces for each cycle ) and once they reached the line, do 10 Squats.<\/li>\n
                2. PAX who stayed behind at the starting line would do Merkins until they were relieved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  We ended up making it all the way to the other end of the parking lot and the Q decided instead of coming all the way back ( subtracting two spaces for each run ), we would pull an Omaha. Off to the shelter so we could stay dry and do some bench work. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

                  Decided to stay under the shelter for Mary instead of using the grass. Probably would have been a mutiny otherwise.<\/p>\n
