3 others joined me in my #VQ at #Mayhem this morning.\u00a0 It was a glorious weather day that caused some serenity amidst all the construction happening at the #AO. So serene, @Red Pajamas showed up a few minutes late from his slumber but the #accountability and #EH from @$5 won out.<\/p>\n
I have only been to this #AO a few other times for convergences and meant to visit it last week to get a better lay of the land so I could plan a proper beatdown, but the bed won out after #HighLife.\u00a0 I had to rely on some trusty backblasts (just one of the reasons why it is important to write one!) to concoct my plan.\u00a0 This one was a rough variation on one @Adobe did called the #BruceLee (with much better graphics). Here is how our morning went:<\/p>\n
Warmarama:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n SSH (20 x IC)<\/p>\n Copperhead Squats (10 x IC)<\/p>\n Abe Vigoda (8 x IC)<\/p>\n Whirley’s Got the Clap (10 x IC)<\/p>\n Arm Swirlys (10x IC, FlapJack)<\/p>\n Seal Clap (10 x IC)<\/p>\n OH Clap (10 x IC)<\/p>\n Moroccan Night Clubs (10 x IC)<\/p>\n The Thang:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Base Station at bottom of #Hill2NoWhere.\u00a0 Do set of exercises. 20 reps all OYO.<\/p>\n Once all 6 exercises are complete, run up #Hill2NoWhere. 2 Burpees at top. Run Down.<\/p>\n Rinse and Repeat x 4!<\/p>\n and TIME!<\/p>\n Mary:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We opted to continue on and finish Rnd 4 instead.<\/p>\n NMM:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n WW Hammers feel\/smell\/taste\/looks awfully like a WW2 so @Dr. Toot made the executive decision to count them towards monthly challenge.\u00a0 Approved. 160 by my count!<\/p>\n Hit @$5 up for any travel recommendations. Particularly if you are looking for a summer trip up to Maine and Acadia National Park as YHC and my M are planning in July. Great recs.<\/p>\n @Red Pajamas is steadfast as can be. Strong work this morning and was killing the circuits.\u00a0 He can also be found swimming at the local Clemmons Y.\u00a0 Maybe he sees @Huckleberry there.<\/p>\n @Dr. Toot was out front all morning but did a great job pushing the 6 to be right there with him.\u00a0 Ask him about the Kale and Bean soup he has had recently.\u00a0 You may have been able to smell it, too!<\/p>\n Overall, a perfect morning. Weather was cooperative. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right. We have all been waiting for mornings like this one.<\/p>\n #Mayhem is a great #AO — so many different options. That hill is no joke. Wish it wasn’t so far for YHC but mornings like today made it worth it.<\/p>\n Announcements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n @$5 urging #PAX whom are looking to add to their families via a puppy (not babies @Bevo, @TO, don’t worry) they found at Washington Park.\u00a0 Currently, the pup is living with the Humane Society. Reach out to him with any questions.<\/p>\n Happy Hour (and 1\/2) happening tomorrow at 5:30pm at Mossy’s in Clemmons. Hope to see you guys there!<\/p>\n #HighLife is becoming a thing on Tuesday Evenings. 7:30pm. Miller Park (Queen St. Lot). 33 guys in 2 weeks with 5 FNGs.\u00a0 Strong work and keep the EH on those guys. And get the FNGs back out. Come out and support! @Chomper on the Q next week!
