However, when the time arrived it was only Cruiser and YHC. Spicoli texted that he was OTW and arrived well within the window of Spicoli time.\u00a0 We finished up the warmorama and moved via several dynamic warmups like butt kickers, Apollo Creeds, etc across the main parking lot down to the lower one where we gathered some rocks.<\/p>\n
In celebration of this week’s opening of baseball season and the 50th anniversary of Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth’s HR record in the first week of the 1974 season, the beatdown was the oft repeated 700 Club.<\/p>\n
2 stations about 30 yards apart with 7 exercises at each stop.\u00a0 Run between the locations.\u00a0 2 sets of 25 reps before moving down the cardboard.<\/p>\n
Rock station = swings, curls, dead lifts, overhead press, bent over rows, squats w\/rock, and floor to shelf<\/p>\n
Body weight station – merkins, freddie mercs, monkey humpers, low dollies, lbcs, plank jacks, and side straddle hops<\/p>\n
More or less in that order<\/p>\n
When done we’d completed 700 reps. But wait Hank hit 715 in 74 – so since time was dwindling instead of burpees we knocked out 15 squat jumps.<\/p>\n
