YHC is a huge baseball fan and is having a once in a lifetime year.\u00a0 His beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons, whom he has followed since 1986, made it to the College World Series in Omaha back in June.\u00a0 And his beloved Texas Rangers, whom he has followed since even earlier…1975, made it to the World Series by coming back a shellacking their divisional rivals the\u00a0 evil Houston Asterisks in Game 6 and 7 of the ALCS.\u00a0 In fact YHC is heading to Texas on Friday to be there in person for Game 1 of the World Series.<\/p>\n
But first, we had The Rock Quarry that needed a theme, so we loaded up a playlist filled with Creed (for some reason the Rangers have adopted Creed as their house band through this improbable playoff run, much to @Giles’ chagrin this morning, but YHC digresses…..) and got to work this morning under the umbrella of the five core principles plus the codicil at TRQ of no running allowed.<\/p>\n
