Pax far and wide have mixed feelings about days like today . . . some are overjoyed that their 2.0s are back in school, others may be a bit sad that the sight of school buses is an indication that summer is drawing to a close (and that Meadowlark Drive near YHC’s homestead is going to be a morning\/afternoon cluster for the next month or so). \u00a0In observance of the first day of school, five Pax went downrange from the usual Leinbach Park stomping grounds to visit Thomas Jefferson Middle School. \u00a0Would they make the grade or be held back for some remedial work?<\/p>\n
Warm-o-rama<\/strong><\/p>\n All IC . . .<\/p>\n Side straddle hops Mosey to the track behind TJMS.<\/p>\n Tha Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n Starting at the corner of the track, do the Kindergarten exercise for 13 reps (13 years for K – 12), jog ~100 yards to next corner of track, First Grade exercise for 13 reps, jog to next corner, etc.<\/p>\n K<\/strong>indergarten – K<\/strong>raken Burpees Mosey to TJMS auditorium wall.<\/p>\n The Pax were misbehaving, so they had to sit in the People’s Chair outside the principal’s office. \u00a0Then they got in trouble for doing Balls to the Wall, so they had to sit in the People’s Chair for a while longer.<\/p>\n Mosey around the school, across the front to the picnic shelter for some more IC exercises.<\/p>\n Dips Mosey back to Leinbach for some Mary.<\/p>\n LBCs FIN.<\/p>\n COT<\/strong><\/p>\n YHC took us out sufficiently.<\/p>\n Prayer requests<\/strong><\/p>\n Prayers for Argyle’s older son who is having a bit of knee trouble.<\/p>\n All the kids, parents, teachers, bus drivers, administrators, etc. who are heading back to school!<\/p>\n Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n
