What a morning for a beatdown at #WIB.<\/p>\n
When Qing #WIBs, I try to pick spots that are not normally visited.\u00a0 Today was at the Old Sears Hanes Mall building.<\/p>\n
Little did I know that many #Pax hate this location. I had only been one other time at @Van Gogh Q and really enjoyed the long distances between stations and the relative flatness.\u00a0 So, I figured this #AO would be a unique opportunity for the #Pax to branch out.<\/p>\n
I think most people hate it for the sole reason that @Van Gogh has led some cruel beatdowns there like bear crawling a leg of a station, KB swings for an absurd amount of times, and other @Van Gogh specials that only he can do.\u00a0 Is he the most feared Q?<\/p>\n
Anywho, the workout went something like this.<\/p>\n
Warm-o-rama<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n SSH (x 20 IC)<\/p>\n Copperhead Squats (x 10 IC)<\/p>\n Whirley’s Got the Clap (x 10 IC)<\/p>\n Abe Vigoda (x 6 IC)<\/p>\n Avoided arm swirly things since @Cherry Pie was in attendance<\/em><\/p>\n The Thang:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 3 Stations set up in a triangular route<\/p>\n Station 1: <\/strong><\/p>\n 7<\/strong> Diamond Merkins<\/p>\n 13<\/strong> Squats<\/p>\n 23\u00a0<\/strong>LBCs<\/p>\n Station 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n 7\u00a0<\/strong>American Hammers DC<\/p>\n 13\u00a0<\/strong>Wide Merkins<\/p>\n 23\u00a0<\/strong>Monkey Humpers<\/p>\n Station 3:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 7\u00a0<\/strong>Lunges DC<\/p>\n 13\u00a0<\/strong>Ab exercise that I am forgetting<\/p>\n 23\u00a0<\/strong>Regular Merkins<\/p>\n Repeat Stations but with 1 burpee at\u00a0Station 1,\u00a0<\/strong>2 burpees at\u00a0Station 2,\u00a0<\/strong>3 burpees at\u00a0Station 3<\/strong><\/p>\n Rinse and Repeat until time<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n NMM:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I still do not know if it #WIB stands for Workout-in-a-bag or Workout-in-a-box<\/p>\n @Huckleberry and @Van Gogh were out front all morning lapping everyone.<\/p>\n @Cherry Pie did not bring an FNG as promised and kept asking for water.<\/p>\n @Workbench was out front until the burners blew out (he said it, not me).<\/p>\n @Crash was the only one probably not Thistle counting.<\/p>\n @Schlitz was missed. Woke up to a text saying he was planning on being there but the 2.0 did not cooperate last night.<\/p>\n Whole lotta reps for everyone. Most people got through the full circuit 5-6 times. Strong work by all!<\/p>\n Story Time:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n About midway through the workout, 2 dudes starting approaching the lovely parking lot. One was coming from one direction (near the hospital on Silas Creek), the other was coming from the Chipotle\/Jimmy Johns entrance.\u00a0 I thought nothing of it… figured they were convening at the 18-wheeler in the parking lot getting ready to start their day. But they were acting awfully suspicious and congregated outside and were just standing there.\u00a0 I did see a handshake between the two. The conversation lasted about 5 minutes. @Crash thought maybe it was a drug deal… maybe someone just needed a bump at 0600.\u00a0 Maybe I did, too!\u00a0 One of the guys called out to me asking if we were training for the Olympics.\u00a0 I responded “yeah, something like that!” Who knows what really went down and I will leave it up to your guys’ imagination.\u00a0 That led to the conversation during #COT of the strange things seen at #AOs… like someone sitting in their car for the whole time.. etc etc.\u00a0 Any other weird run-ins?<\/p>\n Prayers:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n @Cherry Pie’s father who starts Chemo today.\u00a0 Could be up to 4 rounds depending on how it goes.<\/p>\n YHC took us out asking for healing and strength and courage.<\/p>\n Honor to lead this morning.\u00a0 Til next time! @Root Canal the 2 guys took the keys so you’ll have to go on a hunt for them.<\/p>\n Frostbite<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What a morning for a beatdown at #WIB.
