{"id":22185,"date":"2023-06-28T08:46:01","date_gmt":"2023-06-28T12:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=22185"},"modified":"2023-06-28T08:46:01","modified_gmt":"2023-06-28T12:46:01","slug":"she-didnt-scream-or-nothin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2023\/06\/she-didnt-scream-or-nothin\/","title":{"rendered":"She Didn&#8217;t Scream or Nothin&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although we were a smaller group this morning &#8212; starting at three but growing by 33% to four by 0532 &#8212; we were strong.<\/p>\n<p>Which reminded me of this scene:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sqHxVz6upYQ\">Planes, Trains &amp; Automobiles.1987 &#8211; Her first baby come out sideways, she didn&#8217;t scream or nothing &#8211; YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Thang:<\/p>\n<p>Warmorama:\u00a0 SSH; ISTs; Running with scissors; Squats; Mountain climbers; Toy Soldiers; alternating lunges all IC.<\/p>\n<p>Run over to side parking lot and pair up for Mini BOMBS.\u00a0 One partner runs CCW around lot while partner does aggregate 25 Burpees; 50 OH Claps; 75 Merkins; 100 Big Boy sit-ups; and 125 Squats.\u00a0 Crash and Popeye were one pair, and Subfloor and I were the other.<\/p>\n<p>Down to shelter for the Multiplier:\u00a0 dips, run to top of lot for American Hammers (count only right side), CCW to bottom of lot for Squats, and back to shelter for derkins.\u00a0 Rounds of 10-20-30-40. We didn&#8217;t finish 40 but got to the start of that round.<\/p>\n<p>Back to start for Mary:\u00a0 LBCs, back strecthes led by Crash, Mutton Crunches, and low flutters.<\/p>\n<p>COT<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get ready for the convergence on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4, at Jamison Park.<\/li>\n<li>Subfloor has the Mayhem Q next Wednesday.<\/li>\n<li>No spoken prayer requests, but remember Rubber Ducky and the other driver in your prayers.<\/li>\n<li>YHC took us out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NMM<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This was my first time meeting Popeye who worked his @$$ off.<\/li>\n<li>Crash got in nearly 3 miles in an EC beforehand, then was subjected to a high-running bootcamp &#8212; oh well.\u00a0 YHC notes that he changed shirts, so apparently, Crash is so wealthy that he has a specialized shirt for running and one for a bootcamp.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t hide money.<\/li>\n<li>Subfloor and I got to talk over an extended period for perhaps the first time in years.\u00a0 We discussed picking stocks and culinary options in Elkin, NC, among other things.<\/li>\n<li>When we showed up, there was a person or persons in a car in the main parking lot.\u00a0 When we were warming up, they moved to the far space in the adjacent lot between the big shed and the shelter.\u00a0 Of course, that is where we did BOMBS, so we bugged them again, and they finally left.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t know why they desired privacy but don&#8217;t blame them for getting away from crazy, sweaty men.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As always, it was an honor to lead these guys.<\/p>\n<p>Peace,<\/p>\n<p>Burlap<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although we were a smaller group this morning &#8212; starting at three but growing by 33% to four by 0532 &#8212; we were strong.
