With less than a month to go before the Main Event, YHC thought 1st Street would be a good test.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gather at First Street Draft House.<\/li>\n<li>Run on First towards downtown to Broad St.<\/li>\n<li>Turn around and run the other direction up to 5 Points.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat as time allows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most pax completed two full circuits (about 5.5 miles).<\/p>\n<p>YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p>Announcements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shmedfest is 8\/27 from 4-10 at Triad Park in K-Vegas. Plunger promises no rain this year.<\/li>\n<li>BRR Beat the Heat Vol. 2 will be tomorrow afternoon (8\/16), launching from Lowe&#8217;s Foods Robinhood. YHC has posted an 8 mile and 5 mile route on Twitter. The plan is to finish by 18:45. YHC will be launching at 17:30, hope to see you there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NMM:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The pax seemed to &#8220;enjoy&#8221; this route, in that it was a good BRR test run. Thanks for the positive feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Beast Lite made his first-ever appearance at First Gear and killed it. He&#8217;s a grinder.<\/li>\n<li>Scab is taking this BRR thing seriously. Strong work, brother. Mockingbird, who?<\/li>\n<li>Good to see Snappy back out after an injury. Apparently swimming makes you faster. Dude dusted us all and even gave Walter White a run for his money on Lap 1.<\/li>\n<li>Glazer was all smiles and very appreciative before, during, and after the workout.<\/li>\n<li>30% of the pax this morning\u00a0were native West Virginians and, as far as I know, none of us are related.
