{"id":21101,"date":"2023-01-19T10:19:11","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T14:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=21101"},"modified":"2023-01-19T14:22:19","modified_gmt":"2023-01-19T18:22:19","slug":"q-spiracy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2023\/01\/q-spiracy\/","title":{"rendered":"Q-Spiracy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Burns sent out an SOS Tuesday night due to flu at the zoo; YHC, having fallen out of favor with site-Qs, jumped at the chance to fill in.\u00a0 Burns made it exceptionally easy by posting his planned workout for all to see.\u00a0 Due to not wanting there to be a conspiracy about Q-points for the annual challenge, YHC gently modified Burns\u2019 plans in order to escape inevitably accusations of infringement.<\/p>\n<p>The plot only thickened however as YHC returned to the launch from a pre-run just prior to the appointed time only to find Lamb Chop leading the assembled pax in Cherry Pies (notably absent).\u00a0 YHC respectfully allowed the emeritus to complete the called exercise and then took over, stamping the rest of the workout with the greenback.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Warmarama:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSHs, Cherry Pies (get those shoulders warm), Stretchy-Retchy (Burns\u2019 request), Up\/Down Dawg<\/p>\n<p>Mosey to track.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Thang<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Burpee mile.<\/p>\n<p>Lap 1:\u00a0 Run to each turn (beginning with the first turn from the start line, aka 2<sup>nd<\/sup> turn in Lamp Chop parlance) perform burpees x 10 at each.<\/p>\n<p>Lap 2:\u00a0 Run to 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 4<sup>th<\/sup>, and 1<sup>st<\/sup> turns, perform burpees x 10 at each.<\/p>\n<p>Lap 3:\u00a0 Run to 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> turns, perform burpees x 10 at each.<\/p>\n<p>Lap 4:\u00a0 Run to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> turn, perform burpees x 10.<\/p>\n<p>Mosey to playground and partner up.<\/p>\n<p>Partner A performs lateral pullups on swings x 15, partner B planks. Flip flop; repeato for 4 total rounds each.<\/p>\n<p>Slide over to retaining wall.\u00a0 Partner A performs dips x 15, partner B reverse planks.\u00a0 Flip flop; repeato for 4 total rounds each.<\/p>\n<p>Head up the steps to the circle.\u00a0 Pax calls Mary exercise (IC), then all run up <em>Intimidator<\/em> to Carolina.\u00a0 Called exercises were:<\/p>\n<p>Jane Fonda:\u00a0 Snooki<\/p>\n<p>Pickle Pounders:\u00a0 Razzie<\/p>\n<p>American Hammer(?):\u00a0 Bevo<\/p>\n<p>Time running short, head back to launch for CoT.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Announcements &amp; Prayer Requests:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lamb Chop and M baby arrival next Tuesday!<\/li>\n<li>Bevo had WIB Q this morning at Piedmont Plaza. If you\u2019re reading this, it\u2019s too late.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>YHC took the pax out with some thoughts from a book, <em>Live No Lies, <\/em>that YHC is currently reading.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>NMM:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Snooki didn\u2019t expect much from the workout and was pleasantly surprised.<\/li>\n<li>Lamb Chop made the early suggestion to deviate from Burns\u2019 planned burpee mile, which would have required 40, 30, 20, 10 burpees per lap, respectively. YHC grudgingly concurred but made that the last time that Lamb Chop was allowed to influence the Q as he began petitioning for 2023 challenge points.<\/li>\n<li>Van Gogh had to be restrained from leaving the rest of the pax behind on the burpee mile; he and Snooki matched each other step for step on the runs up the<\/li>\n<li>Frostbite seemed ready to pull the site-Q card early on with the confusion Lamb Chop introduced.
