channel A LOT lately.\u00a0 Such a great variety of genres in that decade.\u00a0 Definitely scratches YHC&#8217;s eclectic musical taste itch.\u00a0 So, we decided we would celebrate the seventies with a loose workout theme accompanied by a soundtrack of the Top Ten Songs of Seventies on 7* (as voted by the Seventies on 7 listeners).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-O-Rama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSH x25 IC<\/li>\n<li>Hillbillies x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Abe Vigoda x10 IC<\/li>\n<li>Whirly&#8217;s Got The Clap x10 IC<\/li>\n<li>Peter Parker x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Parker Peter x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Mountain Climbers x10 IC<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Squats x15 IC<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Merkins x10 IC<\/li>\n<li>Arm Swirly Things, Forward x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Arm Swirly Things, Reverse x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Overhead Claps x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Seal Claps x10 IC, hold it<\/li>\n<li>Moroccan Night Clubs x10 IC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mosey over and grab a cinder block.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang, Part 1:\u00a0 70s Block Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seven exercises x10 OYO each, rinse and repeat for 10 minutes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curls<\/li>\n<li>Skull Crusher<\/li>\n<li>Bent Rows<\/li>\n<li>Chest Press<\/li>\n<li>OH Press<\/li>\n<li>Swings<\/li>\n<li>Dead Lift<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Everybody got in at least 4 rounds in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang, Part 2:\u00a0 70s Picnic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seven exercises x10 OYO each, rinse and repeat for 10 minutes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Irkins<\/li>\n<li>Squatty Potties<\/li>\n<li>Derkins<\/li>\n<li>Step Up Left<\/li>\n<li>Dips<\/li>\n<li>Step Up Right<\/li>\n<li>LBCs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Everybody got in at least 4 rounds in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Thang, Part 3:\u00a0 70s Dance Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seven exercises x10 OYO each, rinse and repeat for 10 minutes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Burpees<\/li>\n<li>Lunges<\/li>\n<li>Imperial Walkers<\/li>\n<li>Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Plank Jacks<\/li>\n<li>Squats<\/li>\n<li>SSHs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Everybody got in at least 3 rounds in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>COT\/BOM:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>YHC took us out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>YHC almost pivoted to an &#8220;All-Disco&#8221; playlist based on the preblast chatter, but decided to stick with the original plan of having the Top Ten of the 70s as our soundtrack.\u00a0 We realized that it was a pretty mellow decade by the end and we also realized the importance of getting out the vote as there were some notable missing songs\/bands (no Fleetwood Mac, no Bruce, etc).<\/p>\n<p>@Subfloor was disappointed that he had stumbled onto the &#8220;Oldies&#8221;
