{"id":19624,"date":"2022-06-15T09:04:24","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T13:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=19624"},"modified":"2022-06-15T09:04:24","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T13:04:24","slug":"ring-of-fire-and-strawberry-supermoons-at-mayhem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2022\/06\/ring-of-fire-and-strawberry-supermoons-at-mayhem\/","title":{"rendered":"Ring of Fire and Strawberry Supermoons at Mayhem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>YHC doesn&#8217;t get to Mayhem very often, preferring the warm confines of BnW, but always a pleasure to venture out to different AO&#8217;s.\u00a0 The site Q was kind enough to shoot a message saying he wouldn&#8217;t be able to join today, something stupid like work, but we would make do.<\/p>\n<p>The second supermoon of the year was still in the sky to welcome pax as they arrived and cast a lovely light upon us.\u00a0 The second supermoon is also known as the strawberry moon, although it was lacking much of a red hue.<\/p>\n<p>It was a lovely mixture of pax to assemble on this warm June morning, which often leads to weather and humidity discussions.\u00a0 YHC recalled my favorite GIF for this type of weather, mistakenly thinking it featured Matt Damon, but was actually from some random comedy called Wrecked.<\/p>\n<p>But the Matt Damon reference got Pony remembering he is currently displeased with Matt Damon.\u00a0 Evidently Pony has a co-worker whose first name is Damon, and Pony keeps calling him Matt.\u00a0 I believe that might be some misplaced frustration, but since neither Damon nor Mr. Damon were present to contest, we allowed it.<\/p>\n<p>We also learned Boomerang is afraid of the potential of running and did not join us.<\/p>\n<p>Realizing it was 0530 and the Q hadn&#8217;t started the music, we got started.\u00a0 Actually were a minute late because in attempting to track the workout on his &#8220;fancy&#8221; hand-me-down watch, YHC forgot he had done a hard reset and so did not the normal activities to choose from.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warmorama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since Double Wide EH&#8217;d an fng, a proper disclaimer, 5 core principles, and mission statement were give<\/li>\n<li>SSH<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Squat<\/li>\n<li>IW<\/li>\n<li>Tempo Merkin<\/li>\n<li>Whirlies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Thang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ring of Fire! &#8211; 1 minute AMRAP at 10 different stations, :20 seconds to mosey between stations<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Burpees<\/li>\n<li>Shuttle Run<\/li>\n<li>Star Jacks<\/li>\n<li>CDD<\/li>\n<li>Freddie Mercs<\/li>\n<li>Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Step Ups<\/li>\n<li>Mt.
