(until he&#8217;s out of quarantine and posts again)\u00a0 It feels like we have suffered enough, and then this cruel twist of fate to have our brother taken from us (so he could fartsack), before we got to tell him how we really felt about him!<\/p>\n<p>Clearly the grief that fell over all of Dashpax-land was thick based on the light turnout this morning.\u00a0 But 4 other hearty souls drove, jogged, and limped into the gloom to help remember the man we knew as Goofy.<\/p>\n<p>Our brother Starfish is famous for his playlists based on songs from a particular year.\u00a0 (or at least to those of us who come play pickleball), so YHC thought he would give it a try and then ask the pax at the end if they could guess the year.\u00a0 (that&#8217;s called a teaser, answer will be revealed later)<\/p>\n<p>Hatching a beatdown worthy of a man like Goofy isn&#8217;t easy, mostly because his form is so poor, not sure what exercises to call.\u00a0 But alas, YHC refuses to speak ill of the nearly departed, as tempting as it may be.\u00a0 So a plan was hatched.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warmorama<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSH<\/li>\n<li>IW<\/li>\n<li>Copperhead Squats<\/li>\n<li>Whirly is clapping<\/li>\n<li>Tempo Merkin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pax then sauntered over to the flagpole area, just as Goofy used to do it. (before he was exposed to Covid)\u00a0 It was there, gathered around the symbol of our nation that the Q shared how much a particular workout YHC had Q&#8217;d was loved especially by Total Recall.\u00a0 TR even brought it up recently, still thankful that he was pushed mentally and physically that day in ways he didn&#8217;t know were possible.\u00a0 TR said that particular workout changed what he thought of F3, YHC, and made him a better father, husband, and son.\u00a0 The Q decided to just give a taste of this fun and called for 100!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>100 Squats<\/li>\n<li>100 WWII<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From there, pax lunged, Apollo Creeded, and walked to the rock pile.\u00a0 (mostly to avoid Mongoose getting too surly about not touching rocks at a workout that is called The Rock Quarry &#8211; just like KFC, but different)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a little known fact, when Goofy qualified as 3rd alternate in badminton for the &#8217;84 Summer Games in LA, he traveled across the globe to study under Dr. Tabata.\u00a0 Goofy has told the story, with a single tear rolling down his cheek, when Dr. Tabata looked at the then spry and youthful 34 year old Goofy, and simply said to him, &#8220;Young man, you have got it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, we replicated the exercises that led him to glory and caused a young Gina to fall in love with him.<\/p>\n<p>:20 seconds on, :10 second recover, x 8<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set 1: Skull Crusher<\/li>\n<li>Set 2: Goblet Squat<\/li>\n<li>Set 3: Curl<\/li>\n<li>Set 4: Heels to Heaven<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once rocks were returned, pax moseyed, lunged, sauntered, hopped to parking lot<\/p>\n<p>Playlist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basket Case &#8211; Green Day<\/li>\n<li>Black Hole Sun &#8211; Soundgarden<\/li>\n<li>Loser &#8211; Beck<\/li>\n<li>Interstate Love Song &#8211; STP<\/li>\n<li>I Like to Move It &#8211; Reel 2 Real<\/li>\n<li>Whatta Man &#8211; Salt-n-Pepa<\/li>\n<li>Wild Night &#8211; John Mellencamp<\/li>\n<li>Regulate &#8211; Warren G<\/li>\n<li>Gin &amp; Juice &#8211; Snoop<\/li>\n<li>Whoomp! There it is &#8211; Tag Team<\/li>\n<li>Found Out About You &#8211; Gin Blossoms<\/li>\n<li>Bop Gun (One Nation) &#8211; Ice Cube<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To no one&#8217;s surprise, Root Canal likes cartoon movies, some pax were interested to learn that I Like to Move It, pre-dates Madagascar<\/li>\n<li>Root Canal was very helpful informing Green Acres about some of these &#8220;new&#8221; songs he hadn&#8217;t heard before<\/li>\n<li>Mongoose actually smiled when Gin &amp; Juice came on.\u00a0 Seriously, we saw teeth and everything!<\/li>\n<li>Argyle is a closet extraterrestrial brother and George Clinton fan (Bop Gun is originally done by the grandmaster of funk)<\/li>\n<li>1994 is the year these songs were released.
