The Thang:<\/p>\n
Pax completed each inning, doing 20 reps of each exercise, then ran the bases around our very oddly shaped diamond (ok, it looked like a rubber band!).\u00a0 Each inning had a particular hit (Single, Double, Triple, or Home Run, and a Grand Slam in the 9th).\u00a0 Depending on the hit called for, PAX completed 10 Merkins at the appropriate bases: Single = Each Base, incl. Home, Double = 2nd, 3rd, Home, Triple = 3rd and Home, Home Run = just at Home, Grand Slam = no Merkins, just run the bases.<\/p>\n
Each inning had the following exercises @ 20 each, followed by the labeled hit:<\/p>\n
1st: Curls, Goblet Squats, American Hammer, Bent Over Rows (two hands); Hit = Single<\/p>\n
2nd: Skull Crushers, Alternating Lunges, Chest Press, LBCs; Hit = Double<\/p>\n
3rd: Curls, KB Swings, Bent Over Rows (10 ea arm), Mountain Climbers; Hit = Triple<\/p>\n
4th: Skull Crushers, Monkey Humpers, Squat Thrusters, American Hammer; Hit = Home Run<\/p>\n
5th: Curls, Goblet Squats, OH Press, Big Boy Sit Ups (WW2); Hit = Single<\/p>\n
6th: Skull Crushers, Alt Lunges, Low Flutter (4 ct); LBCs; Hit = Double<\/p>\n
7th: Curls, KB Swings, American Hammer, Squat Thrusters; Hit = Triple<\/p>\n
8th: Skull Crushers, Monkey Humpers, Chest Press, Bent Over Rows; Hit = Home Run<\/p>\n
9th: Curls, Goblet Squats, Big Boy Sit Ups, Mountain Climbers; Hit = Grand Slam<\/p>\n
The playlist was appropriately baseball themed (amazing how many baseball themed songs are out there).\u00a0 Kudos to Interference who immediately recognized the Ozzy Osbourne’s Crazy Train is indeed baseball themed, as it was Chipper Jones’ walk up song.<\/p>\n
