Upon driving into the Hames Park lot, YHC immediately noticed the dearth of vehicles. \u00a0Lambchop, aka nephew, was the only member of the PAX present. \u00a0We immediately conspired for a more abbreviated workout. \u00a0Alas our plans were dashed when 5 minutes later, Palin came running to the base of the Intimidator to greet us.<\/p>\n
Palin was just in time for my plan to commence.<\/p>\n
The first phase of the beatdown began with Quadrafinia. \u00a0A backward run up the Intimidator. \u00a0We made 4 stops for 4,8,16 and finally 32 Burpees at the very top. \u00a0That is 60 total.<\/p>\n
On the way down we stopped for 10 Merkins, then 20 Squats and finally 30 Low Flutters at the bottom. Upon reaching the bottom, we spotted a wandering Spicoli looking for his lost PAX.<\/p>\n
Now we were four strong.<\/p>\n
Phase 2 was more WIB like.<\/p>\n
The PAX was instructed to run to the top of the Intimidator, execute 10 Burpees and then make 3 stops on the way down for 10 Merkins, 20 Squats and 30 Low Flutters.<\/p>\n
4 times OYO. \u00a0No a lot of mumble chatter. \u00a0Spicoli and YHC brought up the rear as Palin and Lambchop made quick work of this phase.<\/p>\n
Phase 3 – head to the playground.<\/p>\n
Typically, YHC calls for reverse rows and today was no exception. \u00a0The PAX was instructed to perform 25 reverse rows, run around the playground and stop for 5 Dips. \u00a0Next round, 20 Reverse Rows and 10 Dips. \u00a0We worked our way to 5 Reverse Rows and 25 Dips.<\/p>\n
Phase 4 – Popcorn Mary<\/p>\n
Announcements: \u00a0Blood Drive in 2 weeks. \u00a0Check slack for being volunteered for a date or two at IS.<\/p>\n
