YHC was going to be out of town from Thursday afternoon till Sunday and knew that I was not going to be working out during that time.\u00a0 So as advertised, I wanted to design a workout that would last me till my return.\u00a0 Again, this was advertised as misery.\u00a0 Yet 9 other PAX showed up at Calvary Baptist Church parking lot by 0530.\u00a0 And here is what happened…..<\/p>\n
WOR – SSH, IW, Abe V, Michael Phelps all IC.\u00a0 Grab a brick from my car and mosey to the side parking lot.<\/p>\n
workout was simple……\u00a0 10 burpees (lateral jump over brick between each one), 10 merkins (hand walk over the brick between each one), 10 squat jumps (lateral over the brick for each one).\u00a0 Run ~50 yards.\u00a0 10 Low flutter.\u00a0 10 Freddy Merc.\u00a0 Run back to your brick and increase reps by 2.\u00a0 Repeato till time.<\/p>\n
that’s it.\u00a0 yep, that simple.<\/p>\n
42 mins of verbal abuse and complaining…then take your brick back to start.<\/p>\n
Prayers – VG’s friend just passed away (wife and young kids need prayers and support)<\/p>\n
Announcements – Lace has Q at purgatory on Dec 18 (he is turning 50 that day….get ready)<\/p>\n
HOG took us out (professionally)<\/p>\n

man this was terrible.\u00a0 just the fatigue from the burpees to the merkins – terrible.<\/p>\n
lace and Honey badger finished sets of 22 or 24 – absolutely killed it.<\/p>\n
greenspan used the brick as a pillow<\/p>\n
Mutton quietly got after it without complaining – he was the only one<\/p>\n
offsides – “terrible” “awful” were the most used words<\/p>\n
Zima…..well he threw his brick and broke it.<\/p>\n
VG – started doing his own exercises at the end – Zima reminded him it is modify, not change<\/p>\n
