{"id":17072,"date":"2021-09-04T09:48:03","date_gmt":"2021-09-04T13:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/?p=17072"},"modified":"2021-09-04T09:48:03","modified_gmt":"2021-09-04T13:48:03","slug":"the-easy-workout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.f3winstonsalem.com\/f3\/2021\/09\/the-easy-workout\/","title":{"rendered":"The Easy Workout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was supposed to be a record breaker workout inspired by a conversation with Zima a while back.\u00a0 In addition to his clearly stated disdain for YHC&#8217;s existence, he cleverly brought two small creatures which hit YHC&#8217;s soft spot.\u00a0 So YHC decided to do an easier workout with the assumption the small creatures would be joining us.\u00a0 Turns out they just rode bikes around the lot while making interesting noises and spewing water at one\u00a0 another from their speaking parts.\u00a0 So I put my original plan back on the shelf and lightened the load with this alternate, kid friendly beatdown instead.\u00a0 This is how it went:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warm-o-rama:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>YHC&#8217;s graceful recitation of the mission statement and 5 core principles<\/li>\n<li>Supposed 6th core principle SSH x 50 ic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Beatdown:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round 1\n<ul>\n<li>10 Burpees<\/li>\n<li>20 (Each Leg) Bonnie Blares<\/li>\n<li>30 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>40 WWIIs<\/li>\n<li>Run to the end of the parking lot and back<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Round 2\n<ul>\n<li>10 WWIIs<\/li>\n<li>20 Burpees<\/li>\n<li>30 (Each Leg) Bonnie Blares<\/li>\n<li>40 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>Run to the end of the parking lot and back<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Round 3\n<ul>\n<li>10 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>20 WWIIs<\/li>\n<li>30 Burpees<\/li>\n<li>40 (Each Leg) Bonnie Blares<\/li>\n<li>Run to the end of the parking lot and back<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Round 4\n<ul>\n<li>10 (Each Leg) Bonnie Blares<\/li>\n<li>20 Merkins<\/li>\n<li>30 WWIIs<\/li>\n<li>40 Burpees<\/li>\n<li>Run to the end of the parking lot and back<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once all rounds were completed, start over.\u00a0 All PAX made it to the second run through but none completed before time ran out.\u00a0 YHC was on his second Round 3.\u00a0 Some did more, some did less.\u00a0 Strong work by all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CoT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Announcements:\n<ul>\n<li>Convergence for Labor Day<\/li>\n<li>Next Saturday at Wake Forest\u00a0<em>Climb to Remember<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Prayers\n<ul>\n<li>Zima keeping up with his kids<\/li>\n<li>Mt. Tabor and all the tragedy surrounding it<\/li>\n<li>Afghanistan and the world in general<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Welcome former FNG Cauliflower.\u00a0 He served our country, gives God all the glory, and knows how to take a punch.\u00a0 YHC looks forward to more time in the gloom with this solid HIM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NMM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zima is not a friend of Fender as he clearly announced.<\/li>\n<li>Fender selflessly sacrificed his original plan in gracious and kind consideration for Zima&#8217;s children which Zima noted were &#8220;little monsters.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Toot showed us how one is to master his own psychology.\u00a0 More respect than one can mention.\u00a0 YHC hopes to be half the HIM he is someday.<\/li>\n<li>Zima prefers being stoned, shot, electrocuted, drowned, impaled, and beaten to a pulp instead of being in the presence of YHC who happens to have the highest consideration and selfless respect for him and his children.<\/li>\n<li>Crash broke through any walls this workout put in front of him living up to his name.<\/li>\n<li>Zima has a left handed guitar.
